@ big i don't know how translate "Directory di lavoro" @Yzöwl: I've modified a little your inf: 1) the Uninstall string now is rundll32.exe (only rundll gives error). 2) added a Pre.Copy section for Presets copy. 3) added a link on the desktop (All Users Desktop) and the uninstall too 4) added a RunOnceEx istruction to delete the foobar2000 \Software\blabla\Uninstall key if you want i post it. i've noticed the the string rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultUninstall 130 blocks the uninstallation of the program. It asks if you want to restart the computer in theory. 0 Either System provided INF Or Never reboot the computer 128 Set the default path of the installation to the location of the INF. This is the typical setting. 1 Reboot the computer in all cases. 2 Always ask the users if they want to reboot. 3 Reboot the computer if necessary without asking user for permission. 4 If a reboot of the computer is necessary, ask the user for permission before rebooting. Anyone can try ?

probably it's for the Working Folder. But i'm not so sure. #Yzöwl: i'll try your inf and i will see if it gives problems or not

with the SerialNumber directive there is no connection to internet for me.

i'm italian too, but here is better talk english. Have you done a cmd + 7-zip compressed installer?

i have looked at regedit and for example in the uninstall and it doesn't remove the registry entries. For example Software\Classes\.ac3 is not removed and not also Uninstall\DisplayName... Also it doesn't remove the C:\Program Files\foobr2000 directory nor the .lnk. It seems it doesn't execute the DefaultUninstall section at all!!

noone has solution for this?

i've modified an autoit script found in this site and now daemon tools installs without prompting. But i don't know where upping the file.

OK the mod works perfectly. The only bug is in the disinstallation process, when i open Control Panel -> and try to remove foobar, the first click on the "Remove" button erase files only, while the second remove entry and links.

but what version of Shockwave player is this? And for what borwser are the plugins? EDIT: i answer myself...is the silent installer of 7.0.0.19 for Internet Explorer only. Other question, is there the 8.0.0.22 version msi?

is there a switch to the installer for not installing virtual devices? Because the windows of new driver found compares me everytimes. Even if there is the silent switch.

i have another question... i would like to modify the .inf in the way that the Programs link (start menu) is created in the All User folder. Another thing i would like to do is a Desktop link. Now i think that %16422% is a standard for inf files...what is the variable for the All User folder? Or can you paste me a link about inf files?

ok, i've found it, but it ask me where is foo_abx.dll... and with the 7zip archive it ask me where to extract the files.

my foobar inf installation doesn't works! I've seen the inf and i don't understand where the installer takes the variable %APPZ%...

the installation with this method works only if you copy the installation files on the hd. The RunOnceEx method doesn't works, it tells me that i have to insert the disk. Someone has a solution?

The Corel Paint Shop Pro X has the same problem...it tells me about a disk....how can i made the 7-zip installer?
