  9. you already have ReadyThread+ThreadCreate, so you don't need to add it. with GPU issues I mean on with GPU rendering where you have the issue and one trace with CPU rendering where everything is fine.
  10. I always prefer the ISOs and a clean installation. The Sp1 installer doesn't update all drivers in the system32\drivers folder (USB, for example) Also, the SCSI port issue maybe caused by this: ntkrnlmp.exe!WritebackInvalidateWorker How large is your pagefile? Which MPC-HC version do you use? Try the SSE2 version from here: http://www.xvidvideo.ru/media-player-classic-home-cinema-x86-x64 Also, please run the next time the Log.cmd from the folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Performance Toolkit\GPUView in verbose mode. Before doing this add ReadyThread+ThreadCreate to the EventsForStackTrace.txt Upload the new etl files (1 without the GPU issues and one with the GPU issues.
  11. install this extension: Open Command Prompt Shell Extension http://code.kliu.org/cmdopen/ go to a folder like C:\temp, make a righclick select "Open elevated Command Prompt", run the xbootmgr command. After the reboots, go the temp folder again, select "Open elevated Command Prompt" again und run the XML command again.
  12. ok, I check it after reinstalling my Windows 7 with the Sp1 ISOs. Reply again and remind me if I have not answered the next 2 days.
  13. ok, contact Acer/Gateway and report them your issue and request that the issue gets fixed. CoreParking is an advanced feature of the Intel i CPU
  14. in which folder have you run the command? Run the command prompt with admin rights and go to a folder like C:\temp and run the commands there. @iRic ok, contact your motherboard support for an updated BIOS. Disabling core parking is a workaround. If I where you I would like to use the feature.
  15. this is confusing. using the GPU decoding instead of CPU causes HDD issues. Which ATI Catalyst drivers do you use? Do you use the 11.2? Which motherboard do you use? Do you use the latest BIOS and drivers? Do yo use the latest OCZ Revodrive drivers? Is the Revodrive detected as SCSI device in the device manager? http://www.ocztechnology.com/drivers/RevoDrive_and_RevoDrive_X2/ Can you give me a "bad" xperf trace?
  16. Gateway R01.B1 1.4 MB 06/29/2010 This is the latest BIOS from 2010: http://global-download.gateway.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Gateway_R01.B1_A_A.zip?acerid=634133888894332578&Step1=DESKTOP&Step2=FX%20SERIES&Step3=FX6802&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=GATEWAY&SC=PA_6G try it out.
  17. contact the support of the RME Babyface USB audiocard. Their driver cause the issue.
  18. @iRic I never had issues while updating the BIOS. try it out. Also load the default BIOS settings.
  19. you don't have the permissions to create the XML in the system32 folder. That's why it failed.
  20. what are your PowerPlan settings? Do you use the latest BIOS?
  21. run the IE full installer with /X to extract them and use DISM to integrate them. This works fine.
  22. slipstreaming of the IE9 into a non English Windows now no longer breaks the image like it was with the IE8
  23. it requires elevated rights and the network drive is mapped with user rights. This causes some issues. Enable the option LinkedConnections and try again. Maybe this fixes it.
