There are no other reg entries that conflict with those tweaks. It is executed at T-13 from cmdlines.txt So i'll check the regedit next time i use the disc.
You can't replace them... Well you can, but your disc won't install. dont ask why, because I dont! I replaced all the cursors in the shell32.dll (i think) and the installation doesnt work.
Morning guys, Could someone supply me with the logon exe please as when I install xpize on my system for some reason it doesn't add the new logon, even if its selected.
I have the following reg tweak in my reg file that is executre T-13 stage... ; DISABLE Start Menu Popping Up on First Boot [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "StartMenuInit"=dword:00000000 yet the start menu still pops up on first boot? Any other suggestions?
Needless to say turned off fast user switching, but I have secure screen saver... So if the screen saver activates, I have to log back in to shut down. There must be a way to stop this message?!
I agree pretty much with dirtwarrior. I've never liked having anything remotely unuseful to myself on my pc... This website has helped me remove all the programs and components from windows that I don't use.
haha... good points. Normally I can sleep with it on. Anyway I have the Zalman silent water cooler, might get the Antec phantom 500 then the pc won't make any noise!
Is there any other way to disable it then? Sometimes during the night my pc wakes me up (fans, noisy) So i'll stagger over to it and hit the off button.. but as its locked that message comes up, so I have to log in to switch off!
Basically... Select Mouse Cursors, nLite should remove all default cursors. During setup before the nlite script decides to remove the Cursors folder it should check if its empty first... Cheers.
Hey guys, I've briefly searched so please don't flame me... What is the registry key that disables the prompt... Other people are logged on to this compter. Shutting down windows might cause them to lose data. Do you want to continue shutting down? Thanks
