1. I don't think it's you at all... The WPI flash is it setting the IE debugger engine for the office bug fix... This may cause your issue. Still trying to get ahold of mritter.
2. THANKS FOR THE REBOOTS!!! Grrrr. I opened a cmd prompt in my wpi dir and use this command here: WPI.hta options=useroptions2.js config=config2.js It ran fine. I tried several times switching between the 2... It all worked fine...
3. Find and copy this file to your vLite dir ---> wimgapi.dll <--- Then reinstall the wimfltr when vLite starts up. Also there are a dozen posts just like yours please try using the search feature.
4. http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdownloads.asp?model=M7VIG Have you used the manufacturers drivers?
5. What all is this source? A pre-modded disk like OEM's or did someone use nLite or the RMVi to intgrate previous fixes? You really need a CLEAN source (It won't matter what SP lvl it is at)
6. OK I figured it out the installer.css file is missing an entry... Just grab the one from the theme you use... I will check the other themes. Thnak you mr smartepants.
7. Forced is Forced. (An issue that IS up for debate.. It might not last long) We may just remove that feature. As for the multi-config\defaults it only allows for different ones to be selected or not selected. With the commandlines you may have found a bug. I tried to call mritter all day to seee if we could track it down. Send me the 4 files.... I wanna try this sh*t out some more...
8. They use the handily provided sources file...
9. Announcing! Works GREAT on Windows 2000 and earlier (Targeting 98\ME!) MUST HAVE IE updated to v6 before WPI runs. No there no real instructions yet (see the help page of the website for what there is right now) but allot of you are familiar with WPI and it is a fairly simple program to use. Place the WPI folder at the root of your disk and the scripts to start WPIC (However you choose) need to point to WPIC.exe now. Please visit our forum section and ask away for more advice. PLEASE remember to donate if you really like and use this prog! Yes it will work on the newer operating systems and can be configured on them. Version 2.2 - (November 21st, 2009)Minor adjustments to WPIC.exe Fixed the GLARING bug in the dos-style commands! Removed some unneeded code.code] Now added a homepage section and site of its own... See the portal for access to it!
10. Did you remove any fonts?
11. Cannot help you with warez.
12. Jatinbeniwal = HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND??? Whats with the warez talk from you?
13. You HAVE to activate by phone or internet to do it legally. Like was mentioned before you can do this: Bring up a cmd window. (Hit your winkey + r at the same time.) Or goto run in the start menu. Type cmd and hit enter. When the dos-like box opens you type this in ----> slrmgr -rearm <---- Wait for like 30 seconds and it will reset the trial period for you. (Not reboot is need after the rearm prompt is succesfull popup.) Do this every 29 days. Reportedly works 5x! (Works on Vista 3x...)
14. Thats warez Jatinbeniwal...
15. OK I think I know what your issue may be. Use this reg file in execute after: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WPI] See WPI used to keep some info in the reg for reboots and such and still does when reboots are called for. We thought it was fully self cleaning but that may not be so in your case. But all 3 should be working right for you. (They are all technically correct.) As for the commandlines I use this format and it works well for me. %CDROM%\WPI\WPI.hta options=useroptions2.js config=config2.js
16. Change the line at the upper section of wpi.hta to this = BORDER="yes" (line 22) and you will then have a standard window border for moving the wpi interface around. Yes the syntax in the bat file works fine I have tested it several times. Thank you for your assistance!
17. DOH, Please rename to .bat... I will rectify the actual download.
18. Definatly windows 2000, each higher version gets more bloated.
19. OK coupla things you are missing: #1 boot and when you get to a:\ type in fdisk #2 check and delete all partitions on the drive, then make a new base partition and set it as an "Active" partition. #3 reboot #4 type format c: (Whatever your actual drive letter is.) #5 then you type "cd e:" (this changes your dir to the cd drive.) #6 type setup... Here is an ebay link to a 15 dollar 98 setup disk and boot disk sealed... http://cgi.ebay.com/Windows-98SE-with-Boot...A1%7C240%3A1318 Just search ebay for "Windows 98se" there are tons of them...
20. Really any frozen black screen with writing on it cannot say something good...
21. They are NOT from windows, They are from a malware that PARTIALLY installed and was stopped. The autostart for it remains in your registry. Thats why it says it is missing those files.
22. Youre last session file is on the setup disk you made...
23. OK thats another reason Sorry for the accuasation... (We get ALOT of people around here with a similiar question and answer)
24. Wild guess here: You used a all-in-one disk huh??? Like the warezed XP 9-in-one and others similiar....
