For over the past 5 years now i haven't ran a popup blocker/anti-virus nor a firewall. An i haven't had any problems at all. Hell i don't even do a windows update. (I got my system restore turned off and automatic updates turned off.) Btw.. i don't recommand zonealarm for a firewall at all.. Since a very nice and smiple DDos attacks can kill the firewall without any problems at all.. So i recommand using "8Sign Firewall" which you can get here: http://www.consealfirewall.com/ it's very very easy to use and don't have alot of crap build into the firewall like zonealarm. An easy to make your own rulesets, which can be imported from older versions of the firewall or if u had to do a reinstall.

I haven't used a firewall in about 5 years now.. An when i did use a firewall back then. I've used one called "conseal pc firewall" It was by far one of the best i've ever came across.. http://www.8signs.com/index.cfm that's a newer version of the conseal pc firewall.

here's a faster way to run apps with the admin rights under the limit user account.. Just hold the Shift key and right click on the app and go to Run As and it'll open up a dialog so u can type in the admin name and password of the admin account.

I use a program called "Game Xp" it'll disable everything that i don't need such has windows theme, and alot of other useless servieces that ain't needed to run games and it can be download here: http://www.theorica.net/gamexp.htm

Have you tried to extract the files using winrar, then once the files are extracted then remove quicktime. then run the installer for itunes.. i know that's what i have to do just to get quicktime installed without having to install itunes.

I'm kinda a cheap person myself so i bought myself the BFG geforce 5500 128mb card.. An the card is already OC'ed from the standard 270mhz core to 290mhz. Which isn't bad for $119 cnd.. If i had a bank account i could have gotten a 6600GT for $148cnd
