Most likely a false alarm. Upload the file here - http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and check it against other virus scanners. I bet that EXE is UPX'd which most AV companies are having problems with.

DVD Shrink site is still there but development on DVD Shrink stopped a long time ago. The author now works for Nero and all work goes into Nero Recode which I now use.

Use Firefox with a custom Hosts file to block the bad sites. Also turn off Java in Firefox, Javascript is all you really need.

WinRAR supports extracting 7-Zip archives not creating them. Having said that I prefer to use WinRAR as I feel RAR is better and has history behind it like ZIP.
