In Computer Management I have a problem with Local users and groups.

When I click on Local users and groups it sais "Unable to access the computer..."

What could be the problem?

Is your pc under a domain ?

Have you modify local strategy ?

Have you update the microsoft management console ?

Try to verify the files are on your pc or not ?

Search *.msc files on windows\system32 and found usermgmt.msc

Try to reinstall it

The PC is not under a domain, didn't modify local strategy, no updates (XP with integrated SP2), there is lusrmgr.msc and not usermgmt.msc.

Is your CD is nLited ?

I assume you have XP Pro because "Local users and groups" isn't available on Home Edition.
