ideas Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 hey guys, am needing to install my XP on my HDD but don't wanna take up too much space by installing windows more than once and the thought is a "Modified HAL", where i can just simply take my HDD & place it into any of mines or my friends machine [ intel or amd ] and just Boot from my HDD without any problems? Windows wil start to boot in another machine, but if it's different chipset you will end up with BSOD saying:Inaccessible boot device.Maybe you know something I don't.
