When I try to map a network drive like this:

net use f: \\192.168.12.5\share

... and 192.168.12.5 doesn't exist I am asked for username instead of getting System error 53 (Network path not found).

What did I remove?

P.S. On a machine with regular XP I do get Network path not found.

If someone is interested, for net command to properly work do not remove Network Setup Wizard.

Maybe there is also some other more serious bug.
