will combination of 256+256+128 work perfectly or its exact capacity is just 512 MB i have heard that all RAM DIMM should of the same size. My board is intel d845WN and have 256+256+128 but not sure are they working in their best or not.

i have builded a unattended XP installation with nlite + xpize + rvyn's pack + wmp slimstrimer now i also to integrate my custom cursors to load by default when my unattended xp boots for the first time

why don't you try shell packs xpize is the best shell pack.. i think u love it if u want to make ur own try editing shell32.dll with resource hacker program.

Root files are missing in ur CD/ISO what are the root files ? root files are those files which are included in ur original 2000 CD along with i386 folder eg support win*.* autorun*.* setup*.* sp*.* support docs etc try including all files as in original CD
