anyone know how i would go about calling my win2k unattended from my aio cd? i can get it to work fine attended, but not unattended. my aio cd uses cdshell

a real install, i installed them both on this pc while i timed on my other

i installed windows xp sp1 using gosh method and the same sp1 drive that i made gosh method with. both use the same winnt.sif Gosh Method - Standard SP1 - theres a 10 second or so margin of error from when it started on the other pc till when i stopped it. this is both the same pc one right after the other while being timed on my other pc.

its 2ghz 7200rpm ata 133 (i think) drive i know there 7200 rpm and over ata100

i wanna do a benchmark on sp2 then sp1 then just xp i only have sp1 and sp2

install wow download all the updates then just let it copy the files over during install

can someone make an autoit script to register soundforge 6 and acid 4 ?

i believe hes just gonna make windows itself unattended so that he doesnt have to worry about calls about how to reinstall it, he made it sound like he just wants them to pop a disc in reboot then walk away till its done.

maybe it doesnt have the drivers for your card and its trying to load an old driver temporarily, try it with the old video drivers added or try adding the drivers you do need and see what happens

i want a ntfs boot disc but dos i wanna be able to run some dos commands on ntfs drives if possible

im not sure if this is what you want but you can install from cmdlines.txt directly if you feel the need

figured it out myself for the curious just copy the temp files from c:\ to d:\ and edit the entry in boot.ini

im trying to install from a d drive but xp stores the temp files on the c drive which means i cant format c drive and install there. is there a workaround for this?

what i do is this i take a snapshopt with installrite i install the theme i want i take the second snapshot save the exe as silent then i just add the exe in runonceex

move the original .dll out of the folder compress your .dll to dl_ and then you can live happily ever after...

can you change the default boot screen during the install process? not the billboard screen but the boot screen, after install whenever boots up.

that is right but for applications that install different for every machine i make a normal silent install then just snapshot my configuration changes,so that its still configured how i want right from the start
