I am now able to integrate the drivers and control panel into a Vista64 install. I have only tested this with Vista64. Here's how I did it. 1: Extract "185.85_desktop_winvista_64bit_english_whql.exe" into a new folder, for example "C:\Nvidia" 2: Click 'Start', 'Run' type 'C:\Nvidia\NvCplSetupEng.exe /a' (without quotes) click 'OK' 3: Click 'Next, enter 'C:\Nvidia' in the network location box then click 'Install' followed by 'Finish' 4: Copy the 5 .chm files from 'C:\Nvidia\windows\help\nvcpl' to 'C:\Nvidia' 5: Copy the 16 files from 'C:\Nvidia\system64' to 'C:\Nvidia' 6: Open 'nv_disp.inf' into notepad and add the following to their relevant section Keep the entries together in the following sections. Create a new section [nv_controlpanel_registerdll]. I put it near the [nv_common_registerdll] section. 7: Remove "NvCplSetupEng.exe = 1" from the [sourceDisksFiles] section 8: Remove "NvCplSetupEng.exe,,,0x00000010" from the [nv_controlpanel_copyfiles] section 9: Exit notepad and save changes 10: Delete the folders 'C:\Nvidia\system64' and 'C:\Nvidia\windows' 11: Delete the following files from 'c:\nvidia' You can now integrate into you Vista64 DVD. Now sit back and watch Nvidia change their setup packages again!!!!

Thanks for you help clavicle. I will try your method when i get chance, but at the moment i'm working on Vista64. Do you think your method would work with Vista64? Obviously the inf file would have to be modified too!

I've run into a problem....... Up until now i've had no problem integrating Geforce drivers into my XP and Vista DVD's. But with the 185.85 drivers, Nvidia have changed the .inf file so only the drivers get installed and not the control panel. The control panel has it's own setup file which i cannot figure how to run (NvCplSetupEng.exe). Just running it throws a message saying something like "No supported hardware found" (or something like that). Has anyone managed to integrate the new drivers and if so, how did you do it? Cheers to anyone that can help!!

You can create an x64 Vista on a x86 XP or Vista, what you can't do is integrate hotfixes or service packs. For that you need to be using an x64. But you can integrate drivers, remove components, make unattended settings and create the ISO.

I used to have this problem with IE7 & nLite. Kept getting the error saying IE7 couldn't be integrated (same error in the picture posted). The way i solved it was not to remove 'Help & Support' (23MB) in the Operating System Options. For some reason removing help & support throws up that message when integrating with nLite. Again as what others have said, always start off with a fresh, untouched XP. Hope this helps!!

Maybe a silly question, but have you checked if hibernate is enabled in the power options?? hiberfil.sys will only show if hibernate is enabled.

Hi all Here's how to do an unattended install of Non-WHQL forceware drivers. This should work for all beta drivers and ones with a modified INF on all laptops and PC's. All you need to do is edit these 3 files DOSNET.INF, TXTSETUP.INF and DRVINDEX.INF In the DOSNET.INF find and remove these lines, d1,nvts.inf d1,nvct.inf d1,nvdm.inf d1,nv3.dll d1,nv3.inf d1,nv3.sys d1,nv4_disp.dll d1,nv4_disp.inf d1,nv4_mini.sys In the TXTSETUP.SIF find and remove these lines, nvts.inf = 100,,,,,,,20,0,0 nvct.inf = 100,,,,,,,20,0,0 nvdm.inf = 100,,,,,,,20,0,0 nv3.dll = 1,,,,,,,,3,3 nv3.inf = 1,,,,,,,20,0,0 nv3.sys = 1,,,,,,,,3,3 nv4_disp.dll = 100,,,,,,,,3,3 nv4_disp.inf = 100,,,,,,,20,0,0 nv4_mini.sys = 100,,,,,,,,3,3 And finally in the DRVINDEX.INF find and remove these lines, nv3.dll nv3.sys nv4_disp.dll nv4_mini.sys Some of these files are also listed in the LAYOUT.INF file but do not make any changes to this file as it's signed and will make XP cancel the setup with an error.
