Just a quick question, i have just installed the lasted hotfixes just before i finish my disk, before i added the last lot i could install xp into VM with out any errors now after the updates i get an error after the first reboot saying "can not find c:\windows\setup.ini" then just keeps rebooting i use the webmedic script v3 to do the update. has anyone got any idears what it is all about With Thanks Paul Data0002

Thanks for your reply, what i need to do is do it so that the kids can do the things that they want. in other words it needs to be done silently. ie some programs can be deployed from a centrel point (diskeeper), without upsetting the other end. With thanks Paul Data0002

I have 3 P.C's at home 1=mine and the other 2 are for the kids, what i need to do is to be able to log onto there pc's by remote (i.e. from my pc), as well as run updates and install software to there pc's. so can anyone help me with the way to set up the network so i can do it please, al 3 pc's are running xp pro as well as just running as a workgroup. Hi My firm has just bourght a copy of diskeeper 8 Administrator Edition, and 3 copys of pro version, all p.c's are running windows xp pro, i have installed the Administrator Edition on one p.c. but when i try to remotely install onto the 3 other pc's it keeps coming up windows error code 5, (we work on a workgroup), i have tryed installing a pro ver on a pc and run the Administrator Edition to it but the concel comes up but does not do anything, any help would be of use. Can someone please help me, how do i put in a time pause in my install.cmd, as i have 2 apps that install which takes it time and the next app installs before the other one has finished, by the looks of it the first app installs 3 or 4 other apps i do have the wait command in the line but it still carrys on.
