  1. u can also delete also freebsd.iso, netware.iso and also this folder: Program Files\VMware\VMware Workstation\messages\ja. but after deleting this also the msi needs to be edited and delete all references to this files... in this way i got my silent installer to 23.9 mb

  5. if i have a file lets say rundll32.dl_ and i extract it using your progie....it will extract to a folder not to the file rundll32.dll......

  11. i made a fresh install without applying remove shortcut arrow (old way with nlite). then applyed this tweak. and it worked.

  14. u can update the virus definitions within the installer.....
  15. the commands u posted just dont install the components but dont remove it.... if u want to remove Windows components for good even from the cd u should use Nlite. link: http://www.nliteos.com

  18. u have to use a program like winrar to open it. right click on the file downloaded from symantec site and choose open with winrar....

  20. i got version 3955 after installing 907658. and even KB910393 is for media center (which is also windows xp...), it also updates a file called wmploc.dll which is included in wmp10 for windows xp.
  21. the ones u post like i said were oversedded. KB891122 is windows media format dist and contains the SAME files from wmp 10 setup pack. and all updates i posted are official not unstable hotfixes.
