well from what i know a xp boot floppy has the boot.ini (text file with boot options in), ntldr the loader for nt oses and ntdetect.com (i dont know what that does detects probably lol) for the boot.ini take a look on your c: if your runnin xp or if you arent look on the forum or i think there is some stuff on microsoft.com the ntldr can be got off the c: on a xp system, off the xp cd if you dont have xp ntdetect.com is on the c: again or on the cd if you dont have xp well i have said xp but you could use 2000 or 2003 instaed i have read before that the newest is the best because it works with all the previous ones for the ntldr and detect

how is it possible to make a bat file to make a message send using IFs for example netsend then like a choice for username or the domain etc then for the message i would like it so it would come up with some windows or options thanks in advance hope you can help

i dont know if it would work but cant you make a floppy image with a boot.ini that has the wanted options set with the startup switches, also the ntldr and the nt detect will be needed

I would like to know if it is possible to put the files which make xp pro volume licence into the xp mce cd. if it is possible please tell me and can someone please tell me how to keep the ability to upgrade from 98 when the media center cd2 is put on the same disc, as all the guides ive seen say delete the upgrade folders. thanks azza

Can anyone tell me if i can slipstream 2003 server sp1 to my multiboot 2003. I also have some questions bout this: 1) Can I slipstream it on Windows 98SE 2) Will the boot folders need changing 3) Will anything else need changing. Thank you for your help.

you could probably make someting on the os to run a file to ftp the file, but there is something in command prompt dir /? that will print the results to a file ill try and make it 4 u EDIT Done just replace C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP with your directory and change the C:\LIST.txt to the place where you want the list to go. so make the os run the list bat file, then make the os upload the file. I would like to build a multi boot dvd, but i have some questions. Here they are: 1) Can i make one using Windows 98? 2) Can someone give me the boot folders as it destroys my 98 installation trying to make them? 3) I would like these OS's - Windows 98SE - Windows 2000 Pro, Server, Advanced Server - Windows XP Pro - Maybe 2003 Enterprise can someone tell me how to put all these os's onto the disc step by step. 4) I would like to add Ghost, Ultimate Boot CD and also NT password resetter, can someone tell me how to put these in also. if its on cd/dvd it is alredy a boot disc. it will go into the ghost menus but if your machine doesnt boot from cd just make a boot floppy on the Ghost Boot Wizard
