PS: I'm dead certain evil Google will make sure your Ch<88 will become less effective in browsing the web over time, but I feel it'll still be good for the next two years, at least
next 2 years... this indicates that Supermium 121 browser is likely to reach the next decade 2030

Save your MV2-type indispensable Chrome extensions while you can...
most if not all of my extensions already have a MV3 type variant or I can easily spot a good alternative.
although I can't tell if ublock MV3 will work over time as well as the MV2 type variant.

ok it isn't helpful. Good luck.
if it's a core 2 duo (2007) it should run with no issues but do not expect the same performance as a core 2 quad for a 2024 browser build

Simply add this command line flag.
--enable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Availability
It will work for now, when they remove it, no one knows.
is it me or the legacy store is gone for good ?
the ''visit legacy store'' button does not take effect

The only odd XPs I still see in the wild once in the blue moon have Firefox 52 or Chrome 49 at best, so probably not much (any?) web browsing is done on them.
Agreed

Both! But brightness is something that bothers more.
the dark mode is as much bad for your sight health as switching off your ceilling light bulb #facts

Got the same with a Dutch clothes' shop when my ublock prevented some java script from being loaded.
Nobody found a workaround back in the day
so I only check over this site with Win7 or even better my phone

--force-dark-mode
this string has no effect on the title bar.

There you go! Finally someone noticed!
I thought you were disscussing about the fonts rendering. I couldn't notice any ''ugly, thick, red, blurry areals''...

Compare the word "Brave" to "Supermium". Around "Supermium" we can see ugly, thick, red, blurry areals. The word "Brave" looks much cleaner.
definitely you need to pay a visit to the ophthalmologist....
Brave background is a little bit darker, other than this the fonts on either of them are equally blurry but that could be due to the screenshot quality and there's no difference to me brightness wise.
just my 0.2

You mean, like this specimen, for example?
I can assure you that Supermium 117 on Win7 x64 can also open 100 tabs at a time without hang-ups.
some picky persons do not even support the browser developement with $ $ $

Don't even start , I can write poems about how win7 sucks, we can go a long off-topic way.
one of the several reasons why I don't like W7 at all....
is there a good file manager out there similar or with the simplicity of the XP built-in one ???

Although 360 does allow tables under the address bar
I couldn't find any visual theme for Supermium 121 akin to this one.
all of the ''classic'' style themes available in the chrome web store look awful to my eyes.

just about 500 MB (zero extensions).
I removed the user data folder and started from scratch just in case.

Cuts my memory use in ~half. Actually did a double take -- removed those DLLs from the folder, relaunched Chrome ... memory use doubled. Put them back, it halves again.
I tried this myself on both Supermium 121 1st release and the hot-fix release.
I restared the computer just in case but the memory usage is still the same

BTW, check out VistaLover's comment -- on 32-bit XP the difference is night & day (for me).
that trick does nothing for me in fact win32 fixed the rebased dll from this link
https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/files/14129613/rebased_dlls.zip
anyway the map issues have nothing to do with RAM usage...

Hi, seems to be working for me (software) in XP x64, will update on 32-bit & Vista in a few mins.
I performed the test on two different computers (AMD quads) and yet it flows better under 360chrome when scrolling, draging the Rover's camera
I didn't try it on Haswell CPU though....

At least you have video encode/decode (watch YT at glorious resolutions) & some semblance of HW WebGL (to watch aquarium, i guess)
this map loads fast enough on 360chrome however it's almost unusable with Supermium 121... can you confirm this ?

I don't expect it to run as smooth as it does with Win7 of course

pagefile should not be disabled regardless the amount of RAM available
I'm not sure what got you thinking otherwise with only 4GB of RAM....
