  1. IRC is a good alternative to those sites (but you might have to guide you're friend through setting it up so you both can connect to each other).
  2. Will get the digi cam after and take a picture but it's not gonna be pretty...
  3. Did you make sure to patch the game first? That may solve the speed issue.
  4. You're motherboard appears to have a PCI-E selection style card to choose between splitting the bus between 8x and 16x. If am correct...switching the card around should re-route the remaining 8x pipes towards the single slot, giving you 16x total. Of course the performance difference is non-existent since a Geforce 6600 just doesn't use up that much bandwith, but still nice for gloating with 16x over 8x .
  5. Probably Call of Duty 2, ET: Quake Wars, & Quake 4. I was looking forward to Battlefield 2 for a while but see'ing how buggy/memory consuming it is (even though it doesn't look all that great graphically) I decided to wait and see how the patches fix it up.
  6. Be careful when OC'ing her, since Athlon 64's have that odd memory divider (best to google for a chart on it).
  7. Not 100% sure, but I don't think theres a way to get 100%. I remember reading that in Gran Turismo 2 that users were really p***ed when they only manged 98% even after doing EVERYTHING possible in the game, may be the same in NFSU2 (or you're just not trying hard enough ).
  8. I think you would see a difference, if a bit minor (atleast you'd gain 64-bit support). If you're not afraid to OC you could always get the Athlon 64 2800+ and OC her to 2.2 or 2.4 GHz and get a huge boost (big enough to put you're current processor to shame , no offense).
