  1. Sorry... no x64 support yet either. I plan to add that soon as well... but not in RC8. BTW... this program doesn't do anything that NLite does. Totally different tool.
  2. I do plan to add support somewhere in the future... but as of now no.
  3. By request I got rid of cdshell and now implemented Bootable CD Wizard instead (As requested). It is much simpler and smaller. Also there will no longer be a need for all of the .dat files on the root of your disk. Everything is still not finished yet... but everything is still going smoothly.
  4. A user told me it is possible to pack Media Center with the current PowerPacker... all you have to do is select Professional Retail when packing. Also you need to copy over a dotnet folder as well. I haven't done it myself yet... but it came from a good source.
  5. I am going to see how Win Media Center installs and make an area for it in PowerPacker. So expect it to be in RC8.
  6. Very nice! I like it a lot! It actually fit's the powerpacker better... and it looks much better and easier. Thanks.
  7. Actually if someone can make up a better cdshell.ini to be used in powerpacker I will add it. But I would need the cdshell.ini asap. Don't worry about making it compatable with powerpackers sceme... cause I am thinking of changing it anyways. So if you have a really nice cdshell scheme and you think it would fit powerpacker better please submit it.
  8. What does your winnt.sif file look like? Please edit your serial number.
  9. Umm... there are many correct ways to make an all-in-one disk. There are also a lot of changes being made to powerpacker as well. Just cause it does things in a different way than you do it doesn't make it an awful app. But hey... geuss you can't please everyone can you. There's allways someone who wants to make a complaint... even when there isn't much to complain about. BTW Thanks for the reports. They will be fixed in RC8.
  10. Good find. I will fix it. Actually there really is no such thing as Home Corporate anyways... but an advanced user can modify setupp.ini to make a corp version of Home Edition. But you are not correct on how to fix it... Here is what needs to be done: Change: xphc_key: getkey 20 boot 0x80 #XPPR if $lastKey == key[d]; then chain /XPHR.DAT #XOPR if $lastKey == key[u]; then chain /XOHR.DAT #ROPR if $lastKey == key[r]; then chain /ROHR.DAT To: xphc_key: getkey 20 boot 0x80 #XPHC if $lastKey == key[d]; then chain /XPHC.DAT #XOHC if $lastKey == key[u]; then chain /XOHC.DAT #ROHC if $lastKey == key[r]; then chain /ROHC.DAT
  11. Currently you can but you have to modify cdshell.ini manually afterwards. But I plan to put something together in RC8 that will allow you to add a custom menu entry with powerpacker.
  12. I've now made cdimage.exe use the progressbar as well. So now PowerPacker will show you progress while you are compiling your ISO. I will also be adding mkisofs to powerpacker to replace cdimage.exe for legal resons. But you will be able to tell PowerPacker to use cdimage.exe instead of mkisofs if you point to your cdimage.exe file.
  13. I would have to say it can't be caused by the update pack... if everyone else who uses it doesn't have a problem. I would be more inclined to think that you are not using a fresh xp disk. If you have previously had hotfixes or anything modified on your original disk before adding the updatepack you are more inclined to have issues.
  14. OK... now I have finished getting rid of all of the window popups. Now all info stays in the main window just above the new progressbar. The only windows that pop up now are the batch files from the DriverPack batch files. Also now PowerPacker handels Hex editing all on it's own... so there is no need for XVI32.exe to do hex editing and pop up a millon windows! lol! Everything seems to be working perfectly so far and everything is so much faster it is amazing! I think I am almost finished with all of the coding. I still am going to create a Save Settings/Load Settings area so you can easily create and use your own custom settings files. Also I want to implement an area where you can run an external file after the Packing process finishes... so that you can call other programs like The RVM Integrator, NLite, XPize, etc. That's it for now.... but you should expect a new release very soon.
  15. Added a new progressbar in the main window and removed most of the windows that pop up during pack process. Also packing seems to be 10X Faster now. Still not done... but this release will be awsome.
  16. You should ask on the DP forums.
  17. Sorry for the long delay everybody! But I have started coding for RC8. The process may be a slow one but coding has begun and I plan on making a bunch of changes in this one. Just thought I would notify yall!
  18. I have been asked to block the internet on certain user accounts on one of the networks I maintain. But they should still be able to use their email. What would be the best routes to do this? Is there a good 3rd party utility for network admins to use to perform things like this? Thanks
  19. My name is a very unique name. Nobody has probably ever heard before.... My name... is.... Christopher But most earthlings call me Chris.
  20. Actually I disagree. I think it is a bad idea to run some antispyware apps together. MS Defender and Ad-Aware are fine in my book. But Ad-Watch and MS Defender would probably be a bad idea. As long as you only use on Antispyware as your real time protection I think you'll be fine. But 2 real time protections may cause you problems. I have seen issues in the past with MS Antispyware and Ad-Watch.
  21. That would be a very huge driverpack.
  22. No I doubt it works for 64 bit versions. A later release may include it.
  23. not sure i understand exactly what you are asking.
  24. Nice confirmation LLXX!
