  1. Surprisingly, yes. I am getting more and more confused with each test because Chrome 360 is either getting better or the same results with Chrome.. Is it still safe for daily use? Browser Leaks seems to give nearly identical results on both web browser. Panopticlick Results also gives identical results:
  2. Browser Audit Results: ** IP Check seems to be nearly identical for both browser and both of them are getting terrible results.
  3. On the positive side of things, I just checked it and it seems that most of the points are from better page rendering on Chrome 360's side. In fact, just as good as the latest Chrome. I am quite confused by this point. I will probably keep using Chrome 49. I just shared it so that I would at least try to help a little in porting a newer browser to XP. Maybe for an insipration from Chrome 360's source if it were available as I thought it was (as it was advertised as open source) but I guess that is also a lost cause. I hope if nothing else, at least it has been proven that bare bones Windows XP SP3 can handle Chromium 69 with some efforts.
  4. Didn’t know there was an english version of the site. I will fix the link right away. Okay, apparently this browser isn’t open sourced as it was advertised, so does that mean that we are all on a dead end here?
  5. [click to open Chrome 360's website] To download it, just click the button in the middle of the page.
  6. Okay so basically it is not very safe to use. That was expected... but is there a way to maybe look at the source code of the browser or something like that and recompile it so that it works with 2000/XP/Vista but this time with the original Chrome 69?
  7. hmm... I don't seem to have that problem on XP. Even then, it's incredible to have Chromium 69 on Windows 2000. Anyways, sertificates seem to be okay for me.
  8. Hello. I was looking for internet browsers that still support XP and something caught my eye, a chinese browser called Extreme Explorer 360 (Chrome 360). It was advertised as Chromium 78 based so I decided to give it a try and to my surprise it actually worked. At first I thought that there was absolutely no way that it could be based on Chromium 78 but after several tests it proved me wrong. Here's why I do believe that it is in fact based on Chromium 78: According to HTML5test.com, this browser gets a higher score than any other XP browser in terms of HTML5 support and features. WhatIsMyBrowser.com reports the browser as Chrome 78 running on Windows Server 2003 (XP x64) In case someone wants to try it on their own: A direct download link from Mega provided by @win32: EDIT: I do actually recommend it as a main browser now as it is based on a significantly newer Chromium version, which is also a lot safer than other much older officially supported browsers. EDIT 2: The browser has been updated to Chromium 78 from 69 and still supports Windows 2000 (with all of the latest unofficial updates), Windows XP and Windows Vista. EDIT 3: According to @ED_Sln, the latest version with proper TLS 1.3 support of Extreme Explorer 360 is 12.0.1053.0.
  9. Wait wait wait... you just got me very excited @FranceBB. You're telling me, that even though there is lots of work to be done to get it working, there is hope in getting Chrome 74 on XP? If someone were to implement QueryThreadCycleTime to the kernel, Chrome 74 would be working? Are you guys working on it regularly?
  10. What is the processor? EDIT: I do not think that it is possible to run Windows XP on that machine. You could try, but you probably would have to put in quite the effort and money to get the OS working correctly. Moreover, I think that you might need to get an external GPU, because I am not aware of there being drivers for that PC's graphics card for XP.
  11. It is such a pity to be honest. I doubt it would take lots of resources to make a Windows 7 driver available to Vista from Nvidia, considering how similar those OSes actually are.
  12. It seems that it may be just that. I've been spoofing it to 72 without any problems whatsoever. It's been like a month now since I've started using it. That's very unfortunate
  13. Speaking of usable internet, why doesn't YouTube load okay since yesterday on Chrome with modified user agent?
  14. I will keep using Windows XP on my main PC as long as it is able to run the internet acceptably.
  15. I had exactly the same issues in my testings with 1050Ti on Vista. Unfortunately, I was not able to get it to work. Only OpenGL games ran fine. For any DirectX ones, you'd be better of playing with a toaster. After all, I ended up getting an GTX 970 and I am on XP now. Everything works flawlessly.
  16. Well, I do actually own them. Could anybody help me how to install it on my Windows XP pc however? Maybe on a PM or something?
  17. Hello. I was wondering, how could I install One-Core-API on Windows XP? When I download it there are just a bunch of folders which I don't know what to do with. Can anyone explain?
  18. Well... It seems that New Moon actually does the job and loads all sites and is now set as my default web browser. But why doesn't Earth or in fact most downloaders (or apps that should connect to a server) still not work? EDIT: Okay, Google Earth fixed itself after reinstall.. Things seem to be getting a lot better since I set the default browser to be New Moon. EDIT 2: Some downloaders still don't seem to work.
  19. No. I’ll try it when I get home but I doubt it will do anything.
  20. Well, pirate bay doesn’t seem to work, many random sites around google don’t seem to work and I think that Earth, Paladin’s downloader and World Of Warcraft’s downloader not working has something to do with the certificates. They refuse to connect to their server.
  21. The thing is, those sites that don't work on Chrome, don't work on any other browser. Even the site for downloading New Moon shows that error:
  22. Some sites seem to tell me that my clock is not updated, but how could that be the case if they are like only two of them? Shouldn't I not be able to access any sites if that were the case?
  23. I've tried it and still have that problem, but YouTube seems to work better so I will keep it. By the way, is it sure that it is safe? Because my anti-virus (Symantec) was screaming at me for being a virus.
  24. Thank you a lot @i430VX. That really did in fact fix my Steam and it's working perfectly now! You cannot imagine how thankful I am right now. The only thing left now are some of the web sites not openning and Google Earth not being able to load well, earth.
