  1. Hello. Today I've installed Windows Vista on my main PC with an Nvidia GTX 1050Ti. I knew that there weren't any drivers for that OS, but I was almost completely sure that I would be able to get around that and I was right. Everything is installed and seemingly works fine, but once I start almost any game after 2002, the GPU usage goes up to 100% with progressively increasing temperature of the card as time goes and nearly all games are unplayable with around 5fps on average. I'm using modified 372.70 graphics driver. Aero is working. Video playback is smooth even in 1080p 60fps. I'm just confused. Should I try any other driver versions?
  2. I'd really like to see Pascal drivers for Windows XP.
  3. Modding doesn't work either. If you try hard enough, you can get the driver to install, but the video card "doesn't start" according to Device Manager. And no. I don't think that you can get this video card to work on Windows 2000, but I might try it later this week.
  4. I did not document it, but there was actually a topic in this forum where I was asking once again, how to get the GPU to work. Otherwise, I don't remember what I exactly did, but I remember that it was an absolute hell. It was on that same machine with that motherboard and all other devices.
  5. I just noticed that even the NVIDIA High Definition Audio driver, which came with the display driver, is working just fine.
  6. Yes, it was the on the same computer, but with GTX 560. The motherboard was ASRock H61M-DGS and it was a hell on earth to completely get it to work, but after a few weeks, I've got everything to work.
  7. My old hard drive had Windows 2000, but it died a month ago.
  8. Well, for now I'm going to just dual-boot Windows XP and Windows 7, but I'd really like to see a driver for my graphics card. Good luck with that.
  9. That's exactly what I did afterwards. No luck there either. Quick Update: I've actually got 365.10 to work, but every time I try to boot up the system it BSODs me. - 0x0000007E (0x80000003, 0xB71117EE, 0xB8517360, 0xB851705C) The system can boot up on in Safe Mode.
  10. It is, but there aren't any strings for either GTX 1060/1070 or 1080.
  11. This driver does NOT work on any Nvidia GTX 1000 Series video card. Moreover, there isn't even a string for any Pascal graphics card in the .inf file.
  12. The driver which Dibya gave just didn't seem to work, no matter what I do. About the other idea, I've just tried editing the .inf file and installing it, but every time I've tried installing it the system just freezes at nvdispgenco3236881.dll Then I've tried installing it with setup.exe with the modified .inf and it said that everything was installed successfully, but I wasn't so lucky rebooting the system.
  13. I'll try it today and share the results here. Let's wish for the best.
  14. Is it possible to get this graphics card working properly on Windows XP? (Nvidia GTX 1050Ti)
  15. Alright. Thank you. I'll post the results with Nvidia GTX 960 4GB VRAM on Windows XP x86 in a month or so.
  16. I am not really going to try, since it's not an cheap video card and the chances to not be working are actually pretty high. And what about Nvidia GTX 970? It's not officialy supported by Nvidia, but I guess it would be easy to get it working since they support some of the 900 Series.
  17. I've also posted that link in the topic, but I just want to make sure that I won't throw my money out of the window and that's why I am making this topic. What was that modification? Would it also work on GTX 1050? What should I do it to make it work? - I definatelly prefer GTX 1050 and if there's a way to get it working on XP, that would be AMAZING! I might even get GTX 1060, just if it's sure that it will work. Please share any other information you have regarding that modification.
  18. For the mobility version of those graphic cards too?
  19. This fix is amazing! I've tried it on my old Windows XP laptop which had 6gb RAM and it worked flawlessly! Thank you so much! I will make sure that once I upgrade my main PC, to install Windows XP x86 and try it. By the way, is there a Nvidia GTX 950M or maybe Nvidia GTX 940M driver for Windows XP x86?
  20. I still haven't purchased that 8tb hdd so there's still a chance for me to be able to pick the right one. What if I get 2 or 3 hard drives that have 512 byte sector size and are 2 TB each? Is there any limitations with SSDs? I am also planning to get one 1 TB SSD.
  21. So there's a way for me to use the original x32 bit version and have all of my 32 GB RAM? That's great news! By the way, would Windows XP x32 recognize 8000 GB (8 TB) hard drives?
  22. Alright. Will do that once I get the card in couple of months.
  23. Titan X Pascal is based on the new Nvidia GTX 1000 Series, so until someone gets GTX 1080/70/60, it's impossible to get Titan X Pascal. I was expecting that, but since I am going to install Windows XP x64, that's not much of a problem. Thanks... Both of you.
  24. I am going to upgrade my secondary Windows XP machine and according to nvidia driver's site, GTX 960 is the latest supported gpu. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/105040/en-us It seems like it's going to work, but after doing some research on Google, some people said that it wouldn't work because Windows XP 32-bit doesn't support more than 3GB. Even if it's true, would it work on Windows XP 64-bit, since there's also a driver for it and it's not a problem for me to install it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
