State agency where I worked for many years in California, had over 300 cpus running xp. Trip to Italy last year, stayed at 5 different hotels, all had xp cpus. TVs about 25 channels. Radio stations 5 or 6. Steve Gibson, GRC.com, still uses xp for main OS. Do not see xp going away in the furture. Charl

Got several CCwifi radios running here, Always connected to internet. If internet (comcast) flubs up, screen reverts to menu. This way I know it not me or my wifes connections. Wifes box is wifi, me cable. Charl

Have several seagate usb 3, got from costco. Work fine for backups. Gonna get some of those MyBooks too at costco. Use to back up to hdds, had several disasters with that method. Best for my use...., usb 3.0. my 2 cents

running some older junk software on win 10 Pro Noticed win 10 seems like it can repair itself, have not needed to use installation disk repair thingy. Did some backups restores with software that I know can mess with hard drives, minor errors, win 10 boots, corrected them. no blue screens yet, did have this... use onenote 2016 alot. Open it, think win 10 closed it and re-opended onenote. Might have been a file error, forgot to check those error logs, when it occured On win 7, probably would need to reboot, if above occurred. my 2 cents

Returned from Italy Nov 2015. Stayed in 4 or 5 different Hotels. Discovered all of them are running xp for guests use in their lobby's. Noticed that tv selections are somewhat limited when compared to America. Getting over 200 tv selections, compared to about 15 in Italy. Still use win 7 Ultimate for some software, checks. Main cpu win 8.1 Enterprise. 3 other boxes, including wife's, running win 10. Seems win 10 is okay, but not for business use. my 2 cents

Using 8.1 enterprise raid setup. Windows 10 build 10586, seems to work okay. Another box with win 10, been up since last year. Reason other box has win 10, seems Adobe stuff works a little better, my 2 cents, as I need that Adobe. Do not like accounts, etc, seems win 10 account manager stuff is not very streamlined. For example changing to Local Account, I have gone down a path of new passwords, bungled logins, etc. my 2 cents Charl
