On Wilders we have discovered that: Ashampoo Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker change the Powershell ExecutionPolicy. SpeculationControl change the Powershell ExecutionPolicy. SpecuCheck not change the Powershell ExecutionPolicy. To use SpecuCheck correctly on W.XP, the KB968930 must be installed. This requires Net Framework 2. @Dibya Can you recompile the new version for it to work on XP? TH. https://github.com/ionescu007/SpecuCheck/releases/tag/1.0.5

KB405691 and KB4056615 are not for the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities (CVE-2017-5754 and CVE-2017-5715). If you do not have a CPU out of the problem your OS is not patched. -

CanvasBlocker ver. 0.4.1 not work correctly?
Sampei.Nihira replied to Sampei.Nihira's topic in Windows XP
Correct alert: It could be a false positive of version 0.3.8. Even with Scriptsafe + Chrome there is no alert. So almost certainly is a FP of version 0.3.8. I hope the developer investigates: The links below are positive with both versions: https://browserleaks.com/canvas https://github.com/ _____________________________________________ Too many problems with the new version. Switched for Canvas Defender. -
CanvasBlocker ver. 0.4.1 is available for Firefox ESR: Link of verify: https://blog.malwarebytes.com/ Alert ver. 0.3.8: No alert ver. 0.4.1:
