  1. Got one feature req here. Is it possible to make hardware.exe also to upgrade current drivers? When drivers dir has a never vers of driver than currently installed then it automatically updates it. Sorry for s***ty English
  2. Can there be anything like %CDROM% used besides d:\ ? I'st just d: aint cdrom drive in any PC.
  3. Hi i'm having the exact same problem here and i'm going to try your cmd file but there is a line i dont understand: /unattend30:d:\setup\XP\Professional\I386\ANSWER_FILE.TXT Whats it for? and what is ANSWER_FILE.TXT? Hope you can help me out.
  4. Great app, can't wait for next release. Any idea when you might have next vers ready?
  5. (Sorry about my bad english but here goes..) I slipstreamed, made admin install point and shrinked my office 2003 but thing is that it doesnt work 100%. When i try to install it with WPI the installer starts, but after some time the progress bar goes back and install is aborted. BUT when i restart my computer it installs fine. So basically one restart is needed from first logon. Anyone knows what the problem may be? -edit- I made my shrinked office in Virtual machine on my winXP Pro SP2 (modded with nlite). Just tried to install it to win witch isnt modded with nlite and it still doesnt install. In fact it doest even install after restart -edit2- Ok, i removed "qb-" and thing was, that installer did not wind some of the files. I'm tring to built shrinked office again in clean instelled windows... -edit3- Shrinked it again but still it didnt find some of the files when i tried to install it on newly installed windows. But i managed to fix the problem by manually copy'ing the missing files to installation directory later.
  6. Did that but i have'nt tested it yet. What i wrote earlier was about what i saw last time i installed win on Virtual Machine. I havent tested this modified hta jet...
  7. Thanks BritishBulldog i'll give it a try. Btw i'm not sure i only happens when everything is selected. I tried last time like this: On my config file i set nero to Default=no and when wmi started i just clicked begin install (everything exept nero was installed as it was set in default) but secont wmi still started when countdown ended...
  8. Hi, i have a little problem here. Is it normal that in unattended windows there is no repair option or did i screw something up? When i boot from cd then it goes straight to partition window. (before that it says that i'ts searching a preverious win installation but then it goes straight to partition window.) Is there any way to fix it?
  9. i'ts in \SETUP\XP\Professional\$OEM$ I did some testing and i think i know where the problem is. (I'll try to explain but my english aint too good) When WMI starts then also starts 60sec countdown. When i click on "begin install" installation will start, but countdown will go on. So when the 60sec runs out the other wmi installation will start . At least i think thats what happens becouse last time i took time with my stopwatch other wmi started approximetly then when 60 sec ran out. Far as i can tell this happens only when all boxes are checked... -edit- Tried like this: when wmi started i let the countdown to finish and when messagebox appeared i clicked ok. Everithing worked fine. (wpi didn't start twice). So there must be some bug somewhere (at least i think so ), could someone fix it please?
  10. You mean like this?: [COMMANDS] "\SETUP\XP\Professional\$OEM$\$1\Install\wpi\WPI.hta"
  11. I modified my config.js file (i added it to my previous post), used your generate.js but still nothing... Btw thanks for the tips about nero, sfx and firefox.

And second wmi installer starts when adobe is installed... (but i can't be sure because testing takes a lot of time)
