  1. http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/u...w.xptweaker.net This one have an option of dumping all your registry modifications to the .reg file. But if you going to compile ALL reg tweaks from http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27911 topic AND add descriptions for all of them... Hm... It would be another version of the http://www.x-setup.net/ (current one required some payment, but you still can find v6.2, which is freeware)
  2. Thx, Going to try it tonight :-). I am spoiled by this site. Cannot stop improving my unattended installation
  3. Hi All, Up till now I did customize Office 2003 installation using MST created by Office 2003 Resource Kit Tools. I specified, that Outlook should use the existing user profile (On of the last customization screens of the ORK tools). I already have my own D:\Mail\Outlook\Outlook.pst, which I want to use. But, when I am loading Outlook after unattended XP/Office 2003 installation it creates D:\Mail\Outlook\Outlook1.pst So, I have to exit from Outlook, delete Outlook1.pst, load Outlook again, specify D:\Mail\Outlook\Outlook.pst as a "missing" personal profile. exit from Outlook, load it again... Voil'a - I am able to see e-mails, contacts, etc. Question: how you can force Outlook to USE my PST file? Thanks.

  6. Well... That wasn't clear. Here is the guide: Hacking Windows XP: Speed Up Your Network and Internet Access http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1558,1722548,00.asp Main idea: using a)latency value (see guide), b)CableNut settings calculator(www.j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php) and c)CableNet you able to fine tweak your Internet settings easily. And I mean YOUR settings, not just apply one of the 3 types of settings (cable/DSL/56Kb). Unfortunately, they did not provide ability to export settings to the reg-file. But, I think that msfn.org user will be able to create such reg file (using "Registry Value" names from the screenshot) and apply it during Unattended Windows installation.

  10. Never say never I would. If I we are talking about 1 home workstation. It is faster and I do not care about losing anything neither on the C: nor on E: Why MSFN exists? Right... To sleapstream everything and be "back in business" without pressing any buttons. All important data stored on the HDD-3 + backed up. Agreed... I had an experience of formatting the wrong drive BUT... Are you SURE that there is no safe way of system partition choosing and formatting ?
  11. Hi All, I've got 3 HDD. 2 of them works as a RAID-0 (striped disk array) Logical drives configuration: C: - ... Gb - RAID-0 (HDD-1 + HDD-2) - System partition D: - ... GB - HDD-3 E: - ... GB - RAID-0 (HDD-1 + HDD-2) I do not want to use any whole HDD's as a System Drive. So, my question is: How I can automate Windows XP Unattended installation? Now, at the "Hard drive partition information" screen I am pressing <D> - Delete C drive (without that I will not be able to do "clean" Windows installation) <ENTER> - Yes, I am aware of consequences of removing current System partition. <L> - Yeah... I AM SURE. <ENTER> - Create partition C and install Windows on it <ENTER> - Format it using NTFS Thank you in Advance...
