Is this thread going to turn into a "what's great about 10" debate now? If you don't want to use 10 no one is forcing anyone to. I personally believe 10 is the best since 7.

Trying this on build 10240 this is my result :/ Hopefully Big Muscle will roll out an update soon. Its pretty s***ty MS won't do it.

There are also some Xbox One exclusives coming to Windows 10 like Killer Instinct and Gears of War HD. So it's definitely worth it!

I just now set loadappinitdlls to 1 it was set 0 I don't see anything that says signed app init dlls. I'm gonna reboot and see if this works.

All of that done. Though I forgot about the appinitDlls so I went ahead and did that rebooted and still not working. Though Aero glass itself works great! Yeah, I see what bigmuscle meant now by only one cmd window opened.Where else would I have to put ModernFrame at in the registry? Also one more question can you add both ModernFrame and UxThemeSingnatureBypass in AppInit)Dlls?

Not installed it? What is the correct way to install it? I installed 1.3.1 for 8.1 then end task on aero host and dwm and copied over all the files from 10130 debug and the experimental modern frame then rebooted. Here is a screen shot of the cmd window and the log. http://pastebin.com/DZvmPQJ7

I have all those files etc but still no glass on modern apps as seen in my screenshot above. Am I doing something wrong?

ModernFrame works in 10130 Weird as it isn't working for me in 10130.

Working great in build 10130! Though sadly ModernFrame.dll isn't working.

Right, I see that now lol. I wish we could get it working again. I seriously hate Microsoft's lame accuse for Aero in 10 unless they change it before RTM.

How did you get Aero working in build 10135? Just use the one for 10074 or?

Yeah, I don't like the current flat dull Win10 theme either. I still think the default Win7 Aero theme is the best looking. Hopefully Microsoft won't block the use of Big Muscle's Aero glass like they did with Classic Shell even though renaming the Classic Shell installer to something else fixes that. I honestly don't know what Microsoft was thinking with this current theme unless like you said they change something last minute.

Microsoft was supposedly bringing back Aero in Windows 10. All I've seen so far in the latest builds are start menu and taskbar transparency. I sure hope that isn't their idea of "bringing back Aero".

How did you get the theme atlas working? Are you using the debug for build 74? I tried adding it to the registry but no luck :/

Do we just need the symbols for 10122 for this work or?

Installed Tuesday's updates and now I get an error saying the DWM isn't compatible with aero glass :/
