Is there no way to hide the dwm.exe window? Before getting my key file it didn't show up but now it is :/

Yes, it works with Secure Boot on, for me too. Hmm the cmd window does open up when I have Secure Boot on. But when it's turn it on I see it.

I can confirm that SecureBoot doesn't work still.

Though like beta 1 for some reason I only get transparency if I use the Metro theme from here http://skinpacks.com/download/windows-8/#.UeCfiUHryKg the default theme doesn't work. I haven't tried any other themes though. Any ideas?

No luck man. I'm not sure what is going on :/ 8.1 I'm running is the one from the store. Though before I was running the RTM iso x64 and it seems to worked perfectly. Even when changing wallpapers. Could it have something to do with the GA?

Spoke too soon. I changed my wallpaper and the transparency disappeared again :/

I had to do a refresh of 8.1 and I did everything I did before but now in the dwm window I get these errors Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Using HideAnyWindow here and it's working fine. http://www.morun.net/www/downloads/hideanywindow.html That doesn't want to install for me. I get "File open error" window that pops up then this [Window Title] Windows Installer [Main Instruction] This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package. [OK]

Does anyone know of a way to hide the dwm.exe window? I use RTtray but it doesn't want to hide this one :/

Nevermind. I donated restarted the process now it downloads the folder but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I must be doing something wrong lol. I'll keep tinkering with it. *Edit* I got it working. It was the theme I was using. Looking forward to beta 2. Thanks for all your hard work on this!

Anyone get that explorer pop up when starting 8.1? None of the icons except maybe 3 or 4 in the start menu show up till I click ok on the box.

Whenever Windows 8.1 starts up does anyone else have that little popup window that says "cannot find target explorer.exe" something like that after installing the latest beta of Startisback +? After clicking "ok" on it everything is fine.

Is there any way of using Start is back in 8.1 preview? I know the new installer restricts you from installing on the preview. But the new start button just takes you to the start screen so lame lol.
