I think bigmuscle is working on an Installer version, with key/serial activation without Machine code being needed for Public Release. Do you have a windows 7 Setup disc ? If you do, use it to get to Command Prompt and open regedit , so you can get to C:\ and delete DWMGlass.dll

Yeah, that's the point. This thread is about providing the first look at implementation for Win8.1 and not about providing scripts for hardcoding the library into the system. I coded this two weeks ago (yeah, I have not much time to code currently so I just provided what I had done before) and I have not tested it at all thus running it automatically at startup is insane. It also makes no sense to start automatically something which stops working after several tens of minutes. It really does not help anyone. There may not be a release version with Auto installer, because bigmuscle can't find a safe way to load DWMGlass.dll, He's not happy using LoadGlass__AppInit_DLLs.reg, with an Auto installer.

Tihiy does StartIsBack.Next overlap the start button (flag) in win8.1 preview or remove it. If it remove's start button (flag) in Win8.1 Preview can you make a separate program to do this ? You are not being helpful at all with any of your posts, your just trying to find a way of making this a useable start menu without the need to purchase the release version, please just test this as it was intended and report bugs that can be fixed. Useable start menu is that not the point ? Trying to be helpful to NEW StartIsBack.Next TINKERERS / USERS, Tihiy does not need my help, to build the new start menu he's more than capable. My posts are to show how good StartIsBack.Next & StartIsBack.Next alpha is, and how it can be used. As for auto close, can it be done with StartIsBack.Next ? and it has nothing to do with (making this a useable start menu without the need to purchase the release version). User picture frame is working on windows 8 enterprise x64, with default Aero theme, and user picture frame can be modded as well.
