Introducing StartAllBack Canary - experimental build intended for short preview for next version. Driven by partial taskbar demise in Windows Insider Canary, system tray was re-written. This new implementation is intended to be used in all Win11 versions. This topic is intended to discuss new tray implementation and StartAllBack on current Windows Insider Canary channel only.

Yeah this can be fixed by replacing UIFILE in explorerframe.dll from older version

Unfortunately Dark Magic got deprioritised now that Windows Canary is requiring taskbar rewrite

You can disable acrylic menus in shell with ImmersiveMenus=0 registry entry, but Dark Magic can't do that yet.

Posts about Canary missing system tray will be removed. Canary is technically Windows 12 and is not supported.

Did you reboot after? Try to explain all the things I need to do to reproduce this, hope you find simpler reproduction. Try disabling taskbar / start menu, maybe that matters

Well that does not look like dark magic shadeout. Did you enable dark magic?
