No, do not remove anything with (file missing) at the end. HijackThis cannot properly handle file paths and protected/locked files. It's common to see Avast items say (file missing) when they really exist. The downloader could have malicious files with it which is common. I would recommend you update your java to 1.6. Really? Is there a plan to get the Application Add-Ons for nLite working with vLite?

I'm not running x64. The reason why memory usage concerns me particularly regarding anti-virus software is, why use a bloated piece of software that installs 100-200 MBs of files on your system and takes up 100 MBs of memory when another program has a higher detection rate, works harder to remove viruses and uses less filesize and memory? I'm not speaking of exact numbers, just generalizing. I agree 100%. Norton and Mcafee don't have good detection rates to begin with. There is no point of giving your antivirus that much resources if it is going to be terrible.

I can safely say that the any key message still exists in 1.01 for an x64 installation.

wmp10 totally messed up on this install. had to reisntall it. it just wouldn't turn on at all. english xp sp2

that would be nice, but nlite's main goal is to minimize the cds size, not improve the visual of xp, wonder what nuhi will say, right now i just replace the files after nlite removes the components, then create the iso
