  1. would it be possible to just remove any line containing 3112 in txtsetup.sif and leaving the 3112r?
  2. hmm.. i might have the same error you have. I myself only have one harddrive but I think my windows install is thinking of the drivers as SATALink instead of Raid.
  3. Ooo thanks, i'll try that out did you just replace the older drivers and thats it?
  4. try executing a batch file that would then start the installer, maybe that will work :\

  6. Yes, I am 100% sure that the drivers are on my CD, they seem to match the one that came with my NF7-s motherboard. SiliconImage 3112A SATA are the drivers. I'm sure the winnt.sif is correct or windows would not read my drive.
  7. There seems to be a problem with my hardware or the type of Windows that I use when I try to use an unattended install. I have both a working, real XP key and the OEM versions of Windows XP Professional. When I use my original Windows CD that is the Gold version or the one I slipstreamed myself with SP2 it ALWAYS will install correctly. When I try the Windows XP Professional OEM version that also has SP2 slipstreamed it does not work. I will get a BSOD on the reboot after formatting and copying files over. The BSOD contains a stop about removing any new hard drives or hard drive controllers. I am currently using a.. ABIT NF7-s Rev2.0 Maxtor 80 gig DiamondMax9 SATA 512MB PC3200 RAM Geil I'm really not sure why it stops... I've been messing around with the BIOS settings and my hard drive. Could it be that the drivers on CD are corrupt or broken? I've tried this with two different XP Pro OEM versions and they have come to the same result.
  8. i recommend VMware, it is FAST and much better then microsoft VM
  9. I've only noticed myself using my right thumb to push the [sPACEBAR]. My left thumb is kinda just... there
  10. weird.. i have two versions of windows on me, pro corp and the retail pro. when i use your installer on the retail xp pro, i get the error that CypherBit and me have found. if i use the XP with the corp key i encounter no errors!
  11. i used the copy drivers and add to winnt.sif unfortunately i keep doing something wrong and the drivers won't load :\
  12. it seems the sceduler component is cuasing the problem, i just deleted after the it installs, now it works well
  13. yeah, it does still reboot when i use it in runonceex
  14. works! thanks ryanvm, using all of your silent install packages and they are superb!
