When I start to install my apps with the new WPI 6, it gives me an alert "here 1" and then installs the apps fine. Is this an error? Did I do something wrong?
I see that it comes from line 378 in installer.js I think? Can I just remove the line?

Why don't you just leave the components that are needed for Halo 2 in your Vista installation? This is the way vLite is used. Deleting what you do NOT need and leave in what you need. A new vLite version won't change that Game Explorer is needed for Vista games, you only have to remove it, if you do not play games on your PC.

I don't know how to fix the activation problem, too. I just see, that Major's 7.8.5.0 setup runs an AutoIt script that I think calls an activation screen and enters your data there. But I don't know which .exe it is, already tried. This is why I am waiting for major to release an 7.9.6.0 SDK.

This error will always appear, if you install your Nero version on a fresh system. Major solved it by running an AutoIt script during the Setup that activates Nero the right way. This is why I am waiting for his SDK, because I also get that Fatal Error for my german Nero setups I created.

Hmm, I am german. The only thing I had to to: Change the language to german. The installer has all the languages, but the default is english. You could even use a .reg Tweak after installing the .msi:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Skype\Phone\UI\General]
"Language"="de"This one would enable german language. Works perfectly here.

@ sp00f: Did you already think about using an AutoIt script for installing Nero 7 Lite? I install the apps with WPI, too. But when I came to Nero 7 Lite and component selection, I decided to install it via AutoIt. Works great.

I think you removed Game explorer? Keep it, if you do not want to have problem with games that need the gameux.dll (Steam).
The problem with the Winamp volume control is new for me. What do you mean with it? + - The keys on your keyboard (Logitech SetPoint does this for me, works fine) or in the program itself?

I know I will go on your nerves nuhi.
When I remove Firewall, I am no longer able to create network shares. Has someone else got such a problem?
But excluding this small "bug" (I think it can't be done, cause Vista's network shares are connected with firewall) vLite 1.0 just rocks!

What do you mean with full vLite? A final version? I think even nuhi can't give us a month for that. It depends on how many bugs are found in the next releases, which I think won't be final. Version 0.95 is quite stable for me, but with a new version there will be new components for removal that need new testing, new bugs are found.
But it's always the same, nuhi brings out the next beta, when you definitely do not expect it and you will got the "It's done, when it's done, because if I were nuhi, I wouldn't like any pressure in time. vLite is freeware, it's nuhis free time.

Yeah, you only got the install.smw, if you are using an Multi-CD version I think. If you slip it into a single DVD with vLite, it creates the install.wim out of the install.swm, install2.swm, install3.swm and so on.

I can confirm that, too. (Running on Vista x86)
If you select "Above normal" or "Below normal", the Priority button will disappear, clicking onto one of the 3 other options works.

Hello again. I've done some short testing. I installed Windows and kept Photogallery. In that system, the Paint.NET print function worked!
Now after that I deleted Photogallery from that image und reinstalled. Now the Paint.NET print function did not work!
Paint.NET calls up the same print-agent that the Photogallery uses to print pictures, so it seems as if Paint.NET depends on that for printing. (And yes, I enabled the Paint.NET compatibility in BOTH images! Used vLite 0.95 and Paint.NET 3.05)

Hey Major, I got one question:
How did you fix the bug that RickSteele posted in his first post (Launch error.png). I am doing an german installer and some people get this bug, too. Could you tell it please? Awesome work btw.

It's not that simple that it was with Win XP, I think. I managed it by using ConfigurationSet in the UA Install, so an WPI.cmd gets copied to %systemdrive%\Install and I call it per AutoUnattend.xml. I will try to explain in the next days.
