Place the rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess line in your runonceexe.cmd file before the command you want to be ran after boot. example command 1 command 2 command 3 rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess command 4 command 5 commands 4 and 5 will be ran after the boot. I've also placed it every ten lines or so which runs groups of tens commands in consecutive windows.

Missing vmscsi.sys during WinXP install?
jbm replied to Wuhtzu's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
I'm getting the same problem only with a different driver. And I believe that F6 will not work if you have OEMPREINSTAL = YES in your winnt.sif file. -
I didn't see any 64bit si3114 drivers on that page. I can get the si3114r drivers I have to work using the F6 method just fine. It's when I try to integrate them on the CD that I have problems. If I remember they're acting the same way the nforce drivers did. Setup says it's loading the drivers but after starting windows the drives don't show in the list of drives to install to. And I don't get any error messages.

Oops looks like i did miss something. here's exactly what I've added to my txtsetup.sif file. Some of it is for a si3114r controller which doesn't work for me. [SourceDisksFiles] si3114r.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1 nvrdx64.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1 nvatax64.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1 [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_71141095 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81361043 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81671043 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_902A1695 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_310215BD = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_052FA0A0 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_104A147B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_104B147B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_B0041458 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_71001462 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_71251462 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_471015D5 = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0C25105B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0CC1105B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0CCA105B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0CCB105B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0CCC105B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0CCD105B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0CCE105B = "Si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0CCF105B = "Si3114r" GenNvRaidDisk = "nvrdx64" *_NVRAIDBUS = "nvrdx64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_008E = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0085 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00EE = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E3 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E5 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0035 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0036 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_003E = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0053 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0054 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0055 = "nvatax64" [SCSI.load] si3114r5 = si3114r.sys,4 nvrdx64 = nvrdx64.SYS,4 nvatax64 = nvatax64.sys,4 [SCSI] si3114r = "Silicon Image SiI 3114 SATARaid Controller (AMD 64-bit)" nvatax64 = "NVIDIA nForce3 250 Serial ATA Controller" nvatax64 = "NVIDIA nForce3 250 Serial ATA Controller" nvatax64 = "NVIDIA nForce3 250 Parallel ATA Controller" nvrdx64 = "NVIDIA NForce(tm) ATA RAID Class Controller"

I got it to work by using the latest drivers on www.planetamd.com using Green Machines method Placing these lines at the end of my txtsetup.sif file Also I'm running a Asus K8N-E Dlx MB if that makes any difference [SourceDisksFiles] nvrdx64.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1 nvatax64.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1 [HardwareIdsDatabase] GenNvRaidDisk = "nvrdx64" *_NVRAIDBUS = "nvrdx64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_008E = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0085 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00EE = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E3 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E5 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0035 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0036 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_003E = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0053 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0054 = "nvatax64" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0055 = "nvatax64" Then I compressed all the files except for txtsetup.oem using makecab. And copied them to the AMD64 folder of my CD source files. Now if I could just get the si3114r drivers to work.
-
Thanks, didn't know that. So I guess I'm back to square one.
-
I guess I wasn't clear enough. It sees the drives if I have a floppy with the driver files in drive A: I'm not talking about F6, just having the floppy in the drive while setup is coping files. I'm trying to figure out how to do it without the floppy.
-
I'm putting them in the AMD64 folder unpacked. I did pack them but that didn't make a difference.
-
I couldn't get the drives on the nvidia controller oe the si3114 one. I'm using Green machines method. Today I found new drivers for the si3114 controller on windows update. When I tried them they didn't work either. Anyway I found by accident that if I leave the driver floppy in the drive while booting from the CD the drives are recognised, if I don't they aren't. I've haven't tried the drives on the nvidia controller with floppy in the drive. I'm hoping someone could explain why I have to have the floppy in the drive. I used this same method with 32bit XP with out the floppy. Also I have copied the files to the AMD64 directory. Here's the relevant part of the txtsetup.sif [SourceDisksFiles.amd64] Are these lines the problem? si3114r.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 nvraid.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 NvAtaBus.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_61141095 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_288510F1 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81361043 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81671043 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_047AA0A0 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0478A0A0 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0479A0A0 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_90181695 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_F642270F = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_100415BD = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_12501462 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_13101462 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_15601462 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_16101462 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_B0031458 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1B711019 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_61141071 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_003515D4 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1025147B = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1001147B = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_130A147B = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_1C0A147B = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_2A1E103C = "si3114r" GenNvRaidDisk = "nvraid" *_NVRAIDBUS = "nvraid" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_008E = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0085 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00EE = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E3 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E5 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0035 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0036 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_003E = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0053 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0054 = "nvatabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0055 = "nvatabus" [SCSI.load] NVRAID = nvraid.sys,4 NvAtaBus = nvatabus.sys si3114r = si3114r.sys,4 [SCSI] nvraid = "NVIDIA RAID CLASS DRIVER (required)" NvAtaBus = "NVIDIA NForce Storage Controller (required)" si3114r = "Silicon Image Sil 3114 SATARaid Controller"

Copy the viamrx64.sys driver files to your AMD64 folder..Done.. Sorry I know this topic is about Nvidia driver slipstream.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are the VIA SATA drivers you integrated WHQL with a .cat file?
-
That wouldn't work. The .cat or security catalog file is for a specific driver. Also if you make any changes like edit the .inf file then the .cat file is again nogood. You also couldn't use a .cat file from a different 64bit driver.
-
What he's saying is the inorder for drivers to be integrated on the CD they need to have beed signed and have a .cat file with them. I can use both Nvidia and Silicon Image beta drivers if I use a floppy and F6. But they don't work if I try to integrate them on a 64XP CD.
-
what are the differences if any in the txtmode.oem used on a floppy for F6 and one used in $OEM$/TEXTMODE for integrating drivers in an unattended install? Has anyone integrated the si3114r sataraid drivers using the green machine method? I'm running a K8N-E Nforce3 MB and can get all drives to show when I use the F6 method. But the drives on the Si3114 controller don't show when I try to integrate them. I double checked to see that I copied all the .sys files to the AMD64 dir. here's the relevant part of my txtsetup.sif [SourceDisksFiles.amd64] or [SourceDisksFiles] acts the same nvraid.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 nvatabus.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 si3114r.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 SiWinAcc.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 Adding this made no difference [HardwareIdsDatabase] GenNvRaidDisk = "nvraid" *_NVRAIDBUS = "nvraid" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0065 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_A2 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_F2 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_A4 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_F4 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_A5 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_F5 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_A6 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5&REV_F6 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_008E&REV_A2 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_008E&REV_A3 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0085 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00EE = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E3 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E5 = "NvAtabus" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_81361043 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_61141095 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_288510F1 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_047AA0A0 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0478A0A0 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_0479A0A0 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_90181695 = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_F642270F = "si3114r" PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_100415BD = "si3114r" [SCSI.load] NVRAID = NVRAID.SYS,4 NvAtabus = NvAtabus.sys,4 si3114r = si3114r.sys,4 [SCSI] NvAtabus = "NVIDIA nForce3 250 Serial ATA Controller" NvAtabus = "NVIDIA nForce3 250 Serial ATA Controller" NvAtabus = "NVIDIA nForce3 250 Parallel ATA Controller" nvraid = "NVIDIA NForce(tm) ATA RAID Class Controller" Si3114r = "Silicon Image SiI 3114 SATARaid Controller (AMD 64-bit)"

Is this with the relesed version or the beta versions RC1 or RC2? I couldn't get it to work with my K8N-E board with RC1 or RC2 so I'm waiting to see how the released version works. Or Nvidia releases new drivers.

UXPCD hangs immediately after cd boot
jbm replied to bart of borg's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
32bit XP works fine on my 64 bit CPU, its a 754 pin 3200+ Your winnt.sif file looks ok to me, couldn't say if your txtmode.sif is ok or not. Have you tried booting from your original CD and see how far you get. Maybe you need drivers for your hard disk controller/s -
The $OEM$ folder should be at the same level as the i386 folder and not inside it, if your installing from CD.
-
Also isn't it true that if you encrypt the password then setup ignors the autologin setting in the sif file and will not auto login?
-
Cmdlines.txt doesn't recognise what your telling it. you need to make a reg file and call it in a cmd file using regedit /S
-
just change administrators to user. To find more info on the net command open a command prompt and type net /? or net help 'commnd' such as 'net help localgroup'
-
Unattened install is the same way. You need the correct key for the type of disk ie retail, oem or vlk. None of the files used for unattended will change this.
-
Installation hangs at Applying your Settings
jbm replied to Bebbetufs's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
I didn't see anything wrong with your winnt.sif file. Did you run nlite on a clean copy of your install files? You may run into problems if you don't. I'd post this in the nlite forum with a copy of you nlite.inf Most likely your removing something thats needed in your windows configuration. -
If your installiing unattened from a CD it should be parallel to the i386 folder. Otherwise I'm not sure. But I'm installing from a CD and the guide works for me.
-
I missread the question.
-
Just a quick question about this subject. Does adding the following to the winnt.sif file work for this [SHELL] DefaultStartPanelOff = Yes
