  1. umm... isn't that already in WPI - from before you even started working on it! forc[pn]=['false'] or forc[pn]=['true'] that's what that does...no?
  2. what version is this built from? seems that there are: - BitTornado T-0.3.9b source package update - BitTornado T-0.3.9a package update - BitTornado T-0.3.9 which did you use? also, more speicifically, what exactly did you change/modify?
  3. you should do a search, a lot of this has been covered... but here ya go: 1. 5. save these keys form your registry (works for me): [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg\GlobalPowerPolicy] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power]
  4. kind of off topic, but what theme do you have there in that screenshot?
  5. Too true. Also, note that you do not need to write the full "cmd.exe /C" as Bulldog suggested. I use a simple "cmd /c" as mentioned above. No problems using it with any version.
  6. here's an example from my config.js: cmd2[pn]=['cmd /c XCOPY "%cdrom%\\Applications\\powermenu\\*.*" "%systemdrive%\\Program Files\\PowerMenu\\" /E /Y']
  7. i just run my cleanup following a reboot. (after all programs install, i add cleanup to runonceex, and use psshutdown to reboot. then, the next loadup deletes all the folders/files/shortcuts. no problems this way)
  8. i made a post with a link, and i thought it'd be made a sticky, but alas, it wasnt. it would be a good idea though, if i may say so myself.
  9. fixed code works perfectly. slimmed my loadup time from 10 secs to 3 1/2 secs. thanks!
  10. @SiMoNsAyS: Have tou tested this code? I just did a clean install of AcrobatReader7 (RyanVM's switchless version), followed by your cmd, and when I tried to open Reader7, I got this error: FYI, the file "Multimedia.api" is located in my: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\Plug_Ins" what's going on?
  11. thanks so much, Alanoll!! looks like this is my last winamp update to my xpcd, though.
  12. BritishBulldog wrote the 'correct' way to do it. however, bonedaddy's method will work as well. think of the the regb and rega commands as putting in the "regedit /s " part, and you only have to fill in the file path.
  13. so theres no way to speed it up? v7 normal is still about 5 seconds longer than sped-up-6
  14. anyone know what commands to run to "speed up" acrobat reader 7? apparently its not the same as 6.0.x? because the acrobat speedup file says NOT to use it past the 7 beta, and something is different... anyone have tested, working speed-up commands for this new version?
  15. how did you change the look of the checkboxes? how did you move the buttons?
  16. 1) is dotnet automatically installed? or would i have to manually select it? 2) if i install RyanVM's: Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 do i still need this?
  17. how do i say that i don't want any bg, just the standard color one?
  18. i thought it had somehting to do with xp? it's totally safe to delete, without any implications?
  19. just curious - what exactly was updated in 5.08 from 5.07? It seems from the winamp website, that they only added a bundled emusic, which you say you removed... so is 5.08 any diff than 5.07?

  21. My suggestion is that when changes are made, make them optional, unless its a bug fix. Some of the changes suggested in that 60-somewhat-page-long thread I don't want, so please make them user-choice. Thanks!
  22. i don't even know what it is
