Dig deeper. Windows 2000 "collected basic system information for diagnostic and security purposes". By definition, that "collection" is a form of 'spying' (by today's standards if not by then-standards).
yeah but like XP you had to agree to it (might be wrong about 2k can't remember much of it)
office also spyed on you but again only if you "agreed" to it for their "improvement program" (or whatever it was called back then)0 -
just shows your ignorance what was behind longhorn
and fyi spying started with xp

Windows going down since abandoning original Longhorn, but windows 11 is "Nightmare on the wings of the night".
not realy
what you see with 10 and especially 11 is legacy of Longhorn
they are doing same mistake all over0 -
because it is (unfortunately still) most used/installed "home" system ?

2. windows os is not their primary way of earning $$$0 -

I think this is a Firefox feature. If you use the r3dfox theme, the icons should be separate.
oddly no exe or dll from redfox install folder contain these resources O_o

tabs got new icons, annoying ones
if you visit youtube for example, their red logo turns into black ugly circle with white triangle (i guess indicating a video tab)
if you visit a page that has animated gif, you get a hollow hour-glass icon instead web-page iconis this Firefox-es or Redfox-es "feature" ?

if that is the case, isn't it easier to just write "redfox 134 will be next" ?

and again k4sum1 dropped unclear bomb
QuoteExperimental Plasmafox v133.0.4e for Vista+
r3dfox naming will return with 134?so this means that redfox will use unstable builds from FF branch
or this means that you gonna add new fixes and features from newest unstable FF branch into stable redfox ?0 -

It's all relative. I spent way way WAY more time keeping XP "useable". But I certainly don't look back and call it a "hassle".
Anybody running XP or 7 in 2025 has to be taking time to study and test. It's not a "hassle", just part of the day, run of the mill, same ol', same ol'.
if you tweak your OS every day just to make it work, then something is really wrong with your setup
as for surfing and doing daily changes to these versions... that is a freaking waste of time0
