Hi,there some problem that i don't know: 1) I have taken a pure iso of a SysOp Ultimate and i have integrated the updates with RT7. Applied by "Commit" and go done. 2) I have reopened the RT7,and i select the previously updated source for tweak but when the image is loading i receive this warning. This procedure was made also with the 1.04 release without a problem. BYe

We know that basically the latest version does not require much space for Home Basic. This is because the problem is the WinSxS folder. Personally I think it is a good idea to have the option to remove it or not. Do not you think?. Phen if don't want to remove simple leave the flag unselected. I have a Home Premium version which weighs about 1.8 gb. I could install it and see what was removed.Maybe wrong.What do you think? This is a WinSxS folder from a Home Basic x64 Version and is is monstrous. This follow image are stored on http://www.winvistaclub.com/f16.html (x86 system) This space of the Windows folder as a percentage. And this space of the WinSxS folder always as a percentage. I can not confirm the reliability of these images but I think they are reliable.

The ISO that I created with the parameters that I posted above is about 2.7 Gb. With all the removals that have been made me think that it should be smaller. Also because a version developed by Ultimate vlite truly becomes smaller than about 1.8GB instead of the 2.7Gb. I say this not for polemic but to compare ideas. All right. I repeated the installation of the operating system, taking a cue from the inf file of Ben and I changed a little according to my needs. I selected the removal of the winsxs folder. The installation was successful. However, the winsxs folder is not removed. The capture tool is not present. I leave a screen to show the amount of space used, which amounts to about 8g of Cusa in WinSxS folder. My dil also enclose the contents file lastsession.inf "so that it can be useful and may give or receive advice. Now i'm write on VM system.

First i have try to integrate the update mentioned with RT7 but the istallation have the problems described. Successively i have tryed with iso taht contanin only a ultimate edition with the update integrated with 7customizer and the install goes at end succesfull. It 's possible that the installation of the update with the RT7 integration not be successful due because the WinSxS folder (cache component) containing the file named pending.xml are not selected and removed? You can.... OK ben. But my iso it does not reduce more. Howener i will continue to test.

Occasionally, the program closes a mistake leaving the decompressed file content wim. This happened to me with other programs and could not remove file unzipped 8-10Gb because they were recognized as operating system files actutlly on use (!!!). So I created a live version of windows7PE on a DVD and i used to go into windows disk and delete the directory. I do not know if this is your problem but if so you know how to get around. I also tried a live linux sdi Gparted but I did not see some folders. For this reason, or used a 7PE.
