hmmm i cant seem to set the small icons... even though i exported the toolbar reg info... its weird because i cant set small icons on the classic start menu either even though the reg info is correct

i use /VERYSILENT /SP- and it works fine

if you have some space i can upload the self extracting/installing sfx archive i made... its just over 500KB

yes its there on the site because i downloaded it awile ago... but... its really hard to find... i just spent 5mins looking and i cant see it the website doesnt seem to be very user friendly

if its in the startup folder you can use the delete command in your batch file... DEL /Q /S followed by the path... e.g. %systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\startup\whatever.lnk or if there in the registry find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run find the key that you want to remove then use... REG DELETE command in your batch file

oh yeah thanx i found it... i read somewhere it wasnt needed so i deleted it

does anyone have a definitive guide to the headings/info that can be put in the winnt.sif file... seems every few days someone posts a reply that has a new (to me) option... i think it would be a good idea to put them all in one thread and make it sticky

could some one tell me how to use the OEMinfo.ini where to i put that on my unnatended disk?? and how do i add it so it shows the info?!?

i just silently installed it... heres how... extract the files from the .EXE using winRAR then run... wmsetsdk.exe /Q it works fine for me B)

i had the same problem with my batch file not finding the links i wanted to delete eve tho it tested working from within windows :-\ (i use english windows )

hmmm well i fixed the original problem i had but now it pops up the config wizard again

it works but not properly... its late now will have more details tomorrow

i have norton antivirus set to install on first start up but how do i stop all the config windows from loading?? i used taskkill.exe command in my batch file (using info from this thread) but it doesnt seem to work any ideas guys??? is there a specific order the tasks should be killed??

I want to launch my computer, and my documents (in folder view not cascading) from the start menu (dragging and dropping the file DOES NOT enable the folder view only cascading) it works like this... e.g. MENUITEM "Run", 401, MFT_STRING, MFS_ENABLED but i cant find the correct coresponding number for my documents and my computer... I found "327" for my documents on winT menu guide but that didnt work does anyone know what file i need to res hack?? or what numbers i need to use?? thanx for any help and yeah i searched lots of places for info but didnt find any
