To color some objects differently I usually cut out each object and put it on a new layer. Then you can apply a color adjustment filter on it.

I notice HFSLIP also copies hidden and system files to my cd. However hidden files and system files normally should not be processed, as thumbs.db and other stuff could get copied. These files show up when the 'dir /a-d' in combination with the '/s' parameter. A quick fix is to use 'dir /a-d-h-s /s' instead. I hope it get fixed for next version.

Will HFSLIP 2.0 still support the feature to install the Recovery Console for Windows XP? I tried this under XP SP2 using HFSLIP 1.7.6 but during setup I get some prompts (connecting to check for updates ) I'll post some screens later. I just post it here since I assume HFSLIP 1.x won't get updated anymore.

ente, did you enter a serial number? Nero 7 Lite doesn't provide a trial serial anymore. What happens if you enter your serial manually in the ProductSetup?

What happened to this nice project? It might be difficult to create a .NET 3.5 installer, but a standalone .NET 2.0 SP1 installer is not that hard to alter. I just found out that you have to extract Netfx20a_x86.msi twice to get a 75.5 KB msi file that allows patches to be applied. Creating a MSI from the administrative install point resulted in a 22,6 MB msi. I use WiMakCab for these jobs WiMakCab.7z

Charls, you have to use the full Nero installer http://www.nero.com/eng/downloads-nero8-update.php or adjust the extract script to use your spanish installer name. I don't give support on creating Nero Lite extensions, but someone published a Recode SDK in this thread.

Its a bit weird, but with latest Daemon Tools I no longer have to turn off Daemon Tools security mode. This simplifies the installation process a bit. Other options like automounting, disabling toolbar can be set in a ini-file. Only thing that can't be set is the Online update check, but I'm happy that Daemon Tools at least get some options to be set manually. Here's an updated ArniWorx installer: ArniWorX 1.0.60 Shell Extension installer This one is multilangual, sets automaticly Daemon Tools language, Automount options and disables the Daemon Tools panel.

I had also problems modifying dialogs using RC files. For Nero Lite I saved the altered dialog as a Resfile. As a script command -addoverwrite "Resources\Dialogs\Nero8\1001.res", DIALOG,1001, worked for me. P.S. You have to specify a , as last character.

You can always try to read the manual included with Reshacker. I use also Reshacker scripts to create Nero Lite. When you specify a log file you can look up the file to see if any errors occured. the command is ResHacker.exe -script "PATH_TO_RESSCRIPT"

The Daemon Tools installer is not very friendly to install unattendly. Since all kernel stuff is put into the SPTD driver anyway I'm going to create my own installer for it. I'll also try to improve the AutoIt script to set Daemon Tools options. When I'm done I'll post a link here.

Nero Lite SDK 1.16.1.2 is available for download from my site now. This one also include all 3rd party files except the Nero full installer. Please report any bugs or other problems when building Nero Lite.

I have spent some time working on Nero 7 Lite again. Going through all the code was a lot of work, but I did manage to merge Nero 7 and Nero 8 scripts together resulting in an improved Nero Lite SDK. This SDK now has automated Nero version detection, improved Micromize script (less code) and some bugs fixed. This will come in handy when writing extensions for Nero Lite. I will bring out new binaries later this week. I still have some work on the serial registration code and fix multilingual support for Nero 7 Lite. Nero 8 Lite English is trimmed down to 33.2 MB, Nero 7 Lite comes in at 28.7 MB.

Yes, the DrWeb Anti-Virus library is getting pretty big. I was hoping DrWeb would bring out a new database instead of all these updates, but as this is unlikely I remove DrWeb Anti-Virus library from next version. This might save a few MB's but I doubt Nero 8 Micro will go down in size any further. Anyway, for users like you which are concerned about every MB I have started working on making a new Nero 7.11.6.0 Lite release, backported from the Nero 8 SDK

I'm so glad, i don't have the serial bug any more Whats this with the mp3 license in 8.3.2.1 ? i can't open mp3's in WaveEditor, neither can I burn an audio CD from mp3 files any more.... So @ProgramFilesDir is automaticly converted to Program Files (x86) and HKLM\Software\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall should also automaticly get converted to the Wow6432node path. If this is not correct you should report this as a bug to the AutoIt team.

Radix, what's all that 64-bit translation stuff doing in your script? As long as you compile AutoIt as a 32-bit exe you don't have to do any path translations, as long as you don't hardcode paths.

You need a MP3 license to use Nero 8.3.2.1 mp3 features.

I discovered some issues trying to encode SVCD files with new version. I'll try to fix it again but Nero 8 Lite 8.3.2.1 will be delayed by a few days. I might try to upload everything from work if necessary.
