  1. My x64 pack has all the same hotfixes that the x86 has and even one more for patchguard. The reason mine doesn't include every hotfix under the sun is some people were having setup hangs from hotfixes that didn't apply to their systems. I never had that issue but my Vista does run better without all the extras in it.

I didn't know if I was allowed to post links or not so I didn't. The 32 bit pack is at http://www.micro-nova.net/Forums/viewforum.php?f=7 and I use cab's in my packs as well as they are a bit more efficient and save some bandwidth as well. There's also an extra forum to request specific hotfixes to add onto it. Thanks Zais and everyone else who have helped out.
  3. I have no idea why. It just does. If I knew why, I would have said so. This has happened to me 3 or 4 times and a reboot fixes it. Would you rather I lie and pretend I know the answer like certain other people do? I'd rather say what I said and leave it at that. If it doesn't work then it doesn't work but it does for me. 'Nuff said.
  4. That added part wasn't necessary, we can all judge for ourselves if Vista or XP is better at gaming but thanks for the opinion. As for the issue that you mention, I've seen something similar. Shut everything down, reboot the pc and then try vLite again.
  5. Can you please elaborate? Do you mean I have to reboot before I try integrating it?
  6. Let's not forget about Readyboost. If you are extremely low on memory and are looking to run Vista, have a look here.
  7. There is a problem with this update. I've included it in my Update Pack but there is a problem with it. For me it just won't integrate but it does install off WU afterwards. Another member has suggested that this isn't the only update that does this but it's the only one I've encountered. I'm still waiting for fedback but I assume that it happens to everyone since I made a post that said so...
  8. It would be a nice feature but I can see why you don't really want to do it. I'm a system builder and own my own pc sales and repair business and have been making my own update packs for this ever since vLite included the integration option and I have to make 4 different DVD's every month (twice this month, thank you very much KB941649), but that's alright since DVD's are cheap. It just seems a waste is all. I'm just thankful that this tool exists as it saves me countless hours of headaches.
  9. If you extracted those 2 fixes out of the service pack, you can't integrate them either. I can't remember anymore what all is in it but I know everything in it is dependent on the rest of it.
  10. I'm not sure I'm understanding this right or not but it sounds like you extracted the service pack and tried integrating the cab's inside that? If that's the case, I can already tell you that just won't work and the install will error. It's best to just hold off completely with SP 1 until Nuhi releases a compatible version. The updates just won't let the install complete because the Service Pack itself isn't present.
  11. That doesn't mean they didn't integrate. I know what you are referring to, but if you go ahead and install, they are there.
