It seems that you are using Windows 2000 isn't it? This will not work properly with Windows 2000 mainly not logging on at this new user. Second: command.0.0 = xcopy Tc603\wincmd.ini "%systemdrive%\Program Files\totalcmd\wincmd.ini" should also contain an corresponding description.0. key ... despite the fact that this command is hidden. Third: May be you could specify full path to xcopy executable like %systemroot%\system32\xcopy.exe ... Please try to call WIHU the same way (as in unattended installation) in Windows, especially creating users and install software as this user. I've never tested it. This default user will not be created if /SkipSettings or /UseCurrent is specified. Benjamin

@visaversa: Please show me your entire ini file. Please specify /verbose switch and save the log with /log=logfile and post it here or mail it to me. Is PowerDVD Folder in WIHU application folder? (It has to be otherwise try command.9=%curdir%\PowerDVD\Setup.exe) Relative folders in WIHU always treated as WIHU application directory relative folders. Benjamin

@all: So I attached new release (please see some postings below) ... and yes midiboy this was a bug which is fixed now. @booster: I'll try to find your problem. Also note, running WIHU under Windows 2000 is not fully possible because of this privilege restriction. Please send me your logfile and may be ini file. Benjamin

@visaversa: There is a bug I removed combo box control again from first page because it make things complicated ... may be I'll add this in future if I find a better solution. @midiboy: Sorry, I forgot to inform you that DefaultHome should be moved to [users] section in future. No that make no sense. But I could add an "Load users" button instead to load entire users list. I think on my second page I can remove temporary environment string control because no one really needs this. Instead I add the ability to load new users. Benjamin

You are always talking about a profile ... what do you mean with profile? Only the user account or entire settings which includes software components to install and account, settings etc.? Btw. Default user is selectable now. Benjamin

@visaversa: Do you talk about the default user? Nevertheless, you could use /users=<inifile> switch to specify inifile which contains user accounts that should be created. Or do you want an option to choose one of these users specified in inifile (users.ini) to be default user? Benjamin

@all: Who else still have problem accessing my web site? I released new beta ... it's now possible to encrypt plain text passwords in ini files [users] section. This option is available as command line switch. /EncryptIni will encrypt INi file in place ... /DecryptIni will decrypt this. @deth: I also added collapsed=x at root level. Benjamin

Yes it would make things easier ... and as I once said, user shellfolders aren't supported nevertheless at this moment because of the restriction of default user privilege. This is "SeTcbName" which has to be enabled for the user who will start WIHU ... but before this user has logged on. @all: I found a solution for not storing DefaultPassword as plain text in registry. Please download latest version (2.0.21.0) to take advantage of this. I also fixed a bug in "Restart Checkbutton" control ... didn't work as expected. Benjamin

So page header and sub header can be changed now with following settings in install.ini: [settings] PageHeaderTitle.0=Title0 PageHeaderSubTitle.0=SubTitle0 PageHeaderTitle.1=Title1 PageHeaderSubTitle.1=SubTitle1 Fixed it. Will be supported now. Btw. no one here noticed that current WIHU release don't run on Windows 2000 ... so I asked to my self if Windows 2000 support really necessary? Benjamin

I know what you mean, but I removed it from WIHU because some here wished it. But Ok I'll support this again next days. Why should the user be able to customize this text? @all: command line switch /Password will change to /UserPwd in next version. Benjamin
