i was creating uxpcd and was getting the same problem @cannot find..." then i shortened my uxpcd directory from "windows 4.10" to "win" and it worked fine. no problem at all. method 1

i guess setup.exe /qn" /f is wrong, because /QN does noa apply to .EXE but .MSI. so setup.msi /qn" /f is the answer

Use silent Java installer from RyanVM. it includes all the neccesary changes like removing yahoo ad, tray icon, autoupdate and works withous switches

hi everybody. i was searching an alternative to the ACDSee and found this small but powerful and beautiful proggy. it uses installshield engine, i tryed everything, but it doesn't want to install unattended. i use RunOnceEx from CD. first i made .iss file, then i used switch Fire.exe -s -f2\"%systemdrive%\dlme.log\"" /f but it doesn't work, i tryed Fire.exe -s and still no luck. can somebody help me with silent install of this program please? website is Here and download location is here

just to add my 5 cent. i had the same problem with integrated method 2 and motherboard from asus with ULI chipset. at about 35-37 minute there was blue screen and portcls blablabla. i tweaked ram a little, changed timings to higher values and second try was ok, without a problem.

you need to restart? than it should apply default theme.

TeT_TaT: it's renamed Microsoft Antispyware. by using exe, and than .msi program goes automatically to the tray and starts protecting the PC.

Actually i tested Bâshrat's driver pack & it works on every sata controller i tested with any sata drive. in his driverpack base there's batch file which compresses and renames .sys files and adds text to txtsetup.sif to support text mode sata controller support. tested with sil 3112, 3114, via, highpoint 374 and some more.

both, english & russian it's not difficult to see what files belong to each language. anyway, just reinstalled windows to be sure that drivers work. it's perfect. Promise TX4, SI3112, Radeon 9700pro, Nforce2 MCP. everything went smooth and silent

i tryed every switch i could find, but it just doesn't work. it has IVsetup.exe & setup.exe in folder. and how to put reg info during silent install?

why don't you put them to OEM folders and specify links in Winnt.sif rather than run from RunOnceEx. it works perfeclty for me, it installs Gart driver, then Radeon dirver, than other NForce stuff
