@blue4603: i found it! info stored in captured WIM file is getting wrong or missing. i fixed it by opening gimagex, gone to change, and wrote "Windows 7 Ultimate" in "name", "description", "display name", "display desc" and voila! after editing, i can easily open all my Wims with 7customizer.

@blue4603: i think i have found a problem. first time i made sysprep image with this comand imagex.exe /compress maximum /flags "Ultimate" /capture C: D:\INSTALL.WIM "Windows 7 Ultimate by Anri" and i had a problem. now i've made another image with imagex.exe /compress maximum /flags "Ultimate" /capture C: D:\INSTALL.WIM "Ultimate" and 7customizer works. thank you again for your wonderful work!

@blue4603 thank you for fast reply. is it possible to create unattended.xml file and than to make sysprep using this .xml file? because any .xml file i use, at "pe" point a get blank list of available operating systems to install. and setup gives error and refuses to continue, but without unatended.xml it works ok. by the way, same problem "7Customizer.Form1.selectImagePathBtn_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)" i get with bie iso which has updates integrated. all i want from 7customizer is to make autounattend.xml file because vlite and wsim crushing upon loading my syspreped image. so no tweaks, no removal.

blue4603: could it be that my image is near 4gb barrier? ive heard that 4gb is maximum for installer, after that size it gives an error. i also cant create autounattend.xml for that image/

it happens to the dutch installer in dutch windows, and same goes to russian installer in russian windows. registry workaround works well for any language of windows or .NET

yup. but ive made dutch installer, and it happens there as well. thus, there might be a problem with language packs only.

yup, the same. i just added regtweak to not show this update the problem is that it doesnt install on .NET 3.0 SP1. only to pure 3.0 without SP1

theres update kb928416 showing up after installation. made 3.5SP1 only with russian LPs. when i try to install it from windows update, it refuses to install. is it possible to intergate it somehow?

Added SVCPACK compatibility (now it caches the files locally by adding the line to 7zip InstallPath="%COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\\Windows Live\\cache" 2. smaller size by using administrative point on all installers, not only messenger (19MB instead of 24mb). 3. patched files to remove advertising, and some tweaks. edit: by the way. in error reporting installer i see the files named DWINTL20.DLL for different languages. if someone knows is it possible to leave just files for needed languages? the installer size is getting couple of mbs smaller. there are also many same files on different installers, is it possible to optimize them in 7zip installer? im gonna try to make installer size smaller but if someone has knowlenge, let me know. edit2: by deleting not needed language files belonging to error reporting, size of the installer is getting smaller to 200kb.
