  1. It's in table 6 of the update-list for Windows XP and also on the HFSLIP-downloads page. And here is the link: HFSLIP 1.7.10 beta J v9 Mimo
  2. Hi guys, I published a new HFSLIP on my little web-site with the hint from tomasz86 regarding USP/W2K, Thx to him!!! But... ths problem described here and it's solution (previous posting) needs at least some tests. Unfortunately I have the next days no time for this. If anyone could test this (and probably also regarding this : nLite misses a registry entry when integrating KB2641653 (XP x86) ) it would help me. Otherwise I will test it later. CU, Mimo
  3. I don't think that registry-entries could be set with a HFSLIP-POST-command. But an additional reg-file could do that job. But it's consistent. In general there is no uninstall-info or hotfix-info if you make a Windows-XP-CD with HFSLIP (or do I miss something?). So I would not prefer this but you could use a reg-file (in HFSVCPACK).Microsofts automatic update doesn't need this info for Windows XP (but they changed it a long time ago for Office 2003 - for Office 2003 this registry-info is needed now). Does this work for this problem here? Without negative side effects? Is this (maybe with a further ini-section-name) also a solution for this: nLite misses a registry entry when integrating KB2641653 (XP x86)
  4. I think, this is a pretty nice solution. But instead of managing this in the HFSLIP :POSTHFX section I will try to use a post-command:HFSLIP_POST_KB2564958.cmd (in HFTOOLS) @ECHO off REM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REM This batch fixes a problem caused by the incorrect updated.inf of KB2564958 REM REM Because of this, the uiautomationcore.dll will not be registered. REM REM Put this script to HFTOOLS to avoid this problem. REM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IF EXIST WORK\I386E\uiautomationcore.dll ( ECHO>>WORK\NSFREGt.TXT uiautomationcore.dll ) after a successfull test I will add this to the update-list / file-checker
  5. I have added the line from tomasz86. But I didn't removed the old line for compatibility to whatever In the change log of HFSLIP I found this: So I don't think that this was a typo from tommy. I didn't found anything regarding this entry of the changelog here in this forum. But after a quick search I found this: upload follows asap!
  6. Thx for this statement. I also thought often sometmes about this. On one hand, everyone can modify this or can leave this file, but on the other hand, 2 is really enough.Other opinions?
  7. not really. should I? Yes I think it could be a good idea to use your switches. But I suggest to define (overwrite) them in the HFANSWER.INI. What do you think?
  8. new file-checker for XP: 2012-06-21 - Added: KB2685939 (MS12-036: Remote Desktop) - Added: KB2699988 (MS12-037: Internet Explorer) - Added: KB2709162 (MS12-041: Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers) - Added: KB2707511 (MS12-042: Windows Kernel) - Added: Malicious Software Removal Tool 4.9.6301.0 - Removed: KB2621440 (MS12-020: Remote Desktop Protocol, replaced by KB2685939) - Removed: KB2675157 (MS12-023: Internet Explorer, replaced by KB2699988) - Removed: KB2676562 (MS12-034: Windows, Kernel and Kernel Mode Driver, replaced by KB2709162 and KB2707511) - Removed: Malicious Software Removal Tool 4.8.6201.0 Download: HFSLIPFC v.2012/05/04 with WindowsXP-update-list v.2012/06/21 So I will fix this typo and publish a new HFSLIP asap! Thx for the info!
  9. Hi@all I just prepared my update-list and I will upload it asap. Sure But could you explain these new lines? Could there problems with other updates be expected? Or are the if-conditions just true in combination of USP5 / Windows 2000?Or could it be more safe to have something like this: REM Example taken from line 3334 of current HFSLIP IF "%VERSION%"=="2000" ( IF EXIST HF\w2ksp5*.exe ( IF %SP% LSS 5 ( .... ) ) )around your additional lines? If you search for "USP" in the HFLIPS-script, you will find some infos that could help to confirm that Windows 2000 and USP5 will currently be used.
  10. New Flash Player: 11.3.300.257 (Download: see first posting) Thx to -X- for triggering me
  11. a small update before the big one (I had no time to upload this version before) New file-checker for XP: 2012-06-11 - Added: Flash Player 11.3.300.257 - Removed: Flash Player 11.2.202.235 Download: HFSLIPFC v.2012/05/04 with WindowsXP-update-list v.2012/06/11
  12. Yes I think it could be a good idea to use your switches. Bit I suggest to define (overwrite) them in the HFANSWER.INI. What do you think? THX for the info!!! Thx for the Info (but I don't have to change anything - the dl-link is still the same. Should I do something regarding version-check?)
  13. Yes, youre right! The download-page of KB943452 has confused me where "English" is inside of the combo-box (but I didn't realized that there is just a text-file when you select "English").
  14. new file-checker for Office 2003: 2012-06-04 - Fixed: now showing KB943452 only for relevant language-versions of Office Download: HFSLIPFC v.2012/05/04 with Office2003-update-list v.2012/06/04 I found no information how to slipstream the Compatibility Pack so it's not listed so far (see also the hint below from Explorer09). Fixed! (see below) They are not slipstreamable, AFAIK. But it's worth listing. People who install Office 2003 are likely to install this Compatibility Pack. Hmmm... I think about it. Thx for the Info! new file-cheker for XP: - Added: KB2718704 (Security Advisory 2718704: Certificate Revocation) - Removed: KB2641690 (Security Advisory 2641690: Certificate Revocation, replaced by KB2718704) - Fixed: restored KB2681116 and KB2657025 as replacements for KB2633952 Download: HFSLIPFC v.2012/05/04 with WindowsXP-update-list v.2012/06/04 @Explorer09: I handle your other info also! I do not ignore it!
  15. Yes, you're right. I will look for it... THX!!!
  16. Thx! I think I add a further Info in the update-list (web-site). I also fix the file-checker. Thx! Can these updates be slipstreamed into an administrative installation point? These are for Office 2007
  17. Yes, it's a long time ago.. I can't say not more than I remarked to that updates, but you should find that info here in the forum if you search for that updates. I often asked me if I shuld remove that updates. Probably I should to that.... Thx for that! I will look for that!!!
  18. Thanks to your for your support!!!new file-checker for Windows XP: 2012-05-23 - Added: KB2698707 (Morocco DST Update) - Removed: KB2657025 (Update for 2011 calendar history, replaced by KB2698707) - Removed: KB2681116 (Daylight saving time (DST) update for Chile, replaced by KB2698707) Download: HFSLIPFC v.2012/05/04 with WindowsXP-update-list v.2012/05/23
  19. THX for the info! This is a cumulative time zone update (optional). Currently I have three time-zone-updates in my list: - KB2633952 (high-priority) - KB2657025 (optional, replaces KB2633952) - KB2681116 (hotfix, replaces KB2633952 and KB2657025) the file-checker shows high-priority-updates by default, optional and/or hotfixes must be activated manually in the INI. I will remove KB2657025 and KB2681116 with the following result (time-zone updates in the Windows XP list): - KB2633952 (high-priority) - KB2698707 (optional, replaces KB2633952)
