Importing HKEY_CURRENT_USER Registry Tweaks Does this help u? Just very briefly: after first logon all of your settings are only saved in the _current_ user profile. When you logon as another user this user has got its own settings. The seperate user profiles are independent from each other. One possible solution for this problem, see link above. Just install your software before first user-logon.

1.) try to enable display of ALL files, i.e. show hidden and system files (you can set this somewhere in Explorer) After you've done that, copy again 2.) Is your CD broken? Maybe your CD has scratches and your drive isn't any longer capable of reading the CD properly.

Hum ... another question: Which framework-version does that /dotnetfx folder include? Is it already framework SP2? Btw: I don't have XP SP2(beta) installed, so I don't know.

Unfortunately that's right. I've got MS Project Professionall, for example, and can't do an administrative installation either. I'd need the Enterprise version. So, if you don't have got the rigth version, there's no way except you spend money for a newer version.
