  1. I like the "Computer" view with the following settings: Tile Group by Type Collumns be Name, Type, Total Size and Free Space I set that up to be like that and I expect it to stay, and it does, but it changes the default view for ALL folders, and I don't even tell it to do so. So when I open My Documents up, it has the same view settings as "Computer", so I change it to "Details, Name, Type, Size, Date Modified" and yet again, it changes it as the default setting for ALL folders. WTF? Why is this happening? Another irritating thing is each time I open a folder for the first time, it always has the following collumns Name, Artist, #, Album, Score, Length, etc, the typical music type stuff, however, there is no audio files in the folder to begin with. What the hell?!? Is there a place I can delete all these settings and start over? It's becoming really annoying to have to keep changing setting when working on something specific. Thanks BTW, Yes I did a search before asking this, Yes this is VISTA, not XP
  2. At work I use 3 22 inch LCDs. At home I have this nappy 19 inch CRT. I would settle for getting the LCD for home before mass storage. At both locations I have the monitors/LCDs at 1600x1200.
  3. Ok, i have a copy of XP, that when installed, is just XP, not XP with SP1. I can install XP just fine, booting from the CD, I enter the Key and have unlimited Windows Update access, so it's a legal CD Key. I slipstreamed SP1a (SP1 isn't available any more) into the CD, and made a new CD. I have not tried to install from this CD yet, but when I copied the contents and ran "D:\AIO-DVD\SETUP\XP\Professional\i386\winnt32.exe /noreboot" it says the Key is invalid. I did this from the original CD as well, and it said the same thing. Is there some weird issue with slipstreaming SP1a into XP that it don't let you use your old Key? Also, why would the non-slipstreamed setup files not accept the same key that works if you boot from the CD? BTW, Since I have a 120 GB D: Drive, I am using exact paths as in the guide.
