Whooaahh
Ok, i have a copy of XP, that when installed, is just XP, not XP with SP1. I can install XP just fine, booting from the CD, I enter the Key and have unlimited Windows Update access, so it's a legal CD Key. I slipstreamed SP1a (SP1 isn't available any more) into the CD, and made a new CD. I have not tried to install from this CD yet, but when I copied the contents and ran "D:\AIO-DVD\SETUP\XP\Professional\i386\winnt32.exe /noreboot" it says the Key is invalid. I did this from the original CD as well, and it said the same thing. Is there some weird issue with slipstreaming SP1a into XP that it don't let you use your old Key? Also, why would the non-slipstreamed setup files not accept the same key that works if you boot from the CD?BTW, Since I have a 120 GB D: Drive, I am using exact paths as in the guide. gamehead200
You sure its a valid key? I believe only product PIDs with -640- in them were blocked... Make sure its not a pirated key... Where did you get XP?
