Folder Views

Featured Replies

I like the "Computer" view with the following settings:

Tile

Group by Type

Collumns be Name, Type, Total Size and Free Space

I set that up to be like that and I expect it to stay, and it does, but it changes the default view for ALL folders, and I don't even tell it to do so. So when I open My Documents up, it has the same view settings as "Computer", so I change it to "Details, Name, Type, Size, Date Modified" and yet again, it changes it as the default setting for ALL folders. WTF? Why is this happening?

Another irritating thing is each time I open a folder for the first time, it always has the following collumns

Name, Artist, #, Album, Score, Length, etc, the typical music type stuff, however, there is no audio files in the folder to begin with. What the hell?!?

Is there a place I can delete all these settings and start over? It's becoming really annoying to have to keep changing setting when working on something specific.

Thanks

BTW, Yes I did a search before asking this, Yes this is VISTA, not XP
