Please compile following way on your environment. * extract this archive. * overwrite your source files. * compile them. * rename from smoothtext.exe to smoothtext.jpn and from SmoothTextConfig.exe to SmoothTextConfig.jpn. * They doesn't need *.0411.wlx files. . In Japanese environment the executable automatically loads *.jpn resource file.

Although I said before I can't compile this Project(since v1.0.6) with Delphi 6 personal Edition, cause I don't have huge.hdc and windowmanagement.hdc. and I think you compile without version 1.0.7 Japanese resource I made but 1.0.4 version one . 0411.wlx file does not include localized fontname and charaset.

Hi Rollie. Of course, .NET Framework 3.5SP1 for Windows 2000 includes also WPF. I wrote in myblog how to run .NET Framework 3.x applications on Windows 2000. It may need You use KDW kernel32 in Ez install mode and check with Ez KD registry. Some application requires also user32 wrapper. I checked some applications work on Windows 2000. But there are any applications which doesn't work. If you hava WPF applications which you would not run. I try to run them.

Hi Svenne. KDW doesn't need install wrapper files in system folder . * bin\plus\iphlpapi.dll copy to \Program Files\Blockland. * run kdllinst.exe and Check (after reboot.) EZ KD Registry if not checked. * Set EzInstall folder \Program Files\Blockland * press ws2_32 button and EzInstall button. * run Blockland. It may work fine on Win2000.

Hi WildBill. Delphi Localizer can't changed font families and character types. and not effected in ConfigureOverrideStandardFormUnit. I think you only make executable file with Japanese dfm and Comment out Main routine. and rename SmoothText.JPN and SmoothTextConfig.JPN.

Hi, WildBill The Japanese Language Package has any problems. Japanese application must don't use ANSI_CHARSET but SHIFTJIS_CHARSET. and not MS Sun Serif but MS UI Gothic. And frmConfigureStandard doesn't apply Japanese. I translated to Japanese here I can't compile This Project, cause I don't have huge.hdc and windowmanagement.hdc.

I added to the List some applications. Many XNA and SlimDX games work on Windows 2000.

Hi WildBill. OE6SP3 doesn't require KDW. It uses KDW force link technology on inside. But perhaps you have to make disable Windows System File Protection folder (i386) temporarily. Yesterday MS released KB978542 and I'll intergrated it OE6Sp3.

Hi, HardDriv'n KDW Project can use XP Function with 3 way methods. * Extend DLLs are inserted in System folder. * Disable SafeDllSearchMode and copy Extend DLLs in Application folder. * KDW writes and changes Application exe's Link table and forces to link extend Dlls. Of course The Chrome Installer for Windows 2000 works Iron 3/4, too.

First reason is API loaded with a few method. * Static Load. * Dynamic Load(GetModuleHandle and GetProcAddress) Second reason is don't be guaranteed fixed address with the exception of kernel32 and user32. Third reason is one dll is loaded many times from many dlls on certain program.

Hi. I think not necessary FDD if you integrated RAID Driver with nLite. I could install RAID Driver in Windows 2000 without FDD, ICH10 and SB750.
