Did you check SHFolderExReg with KDLLinst ? What version do you use the VMWare Tool? I use 8.8.1 build-528969
-
I forgot the application name. But The problem is the dialog can't display. Do you remember which applications had problems when XP's comctl32 was used? What exactly happened?
-
I released KDW 0.96j. Please try it.
-
Please try VMWare player which include VMWare 8.x If you run VMWare player , Is there same problem ? Thx.
-
I included XP's comctl32.dll in MS10-081 for Windows 2000. But there is a little difference from xp version (ver 5.82.2900.6029) Some applications are checked control version by comctl32, so I changed it as same as ver 5.81.

I think that Perhaps kernel v13a2 -> v13e2 The problem may be fixed on v13f. notes: Default KDW v0.96i's kernel32.dll has FindActCtxSectionString. if some application occured with this kernel, remove these function with batch file.
-
I had already released it. (It meant that I released it and the problem may be fixed.) If you can't run Add/Removal Programs control panel app. You can uninstall old version from %SystemRoot%\$NtUninstallKB935839-v13e2$\spuninst\spuninst.exe.
-
Thx to report it. I may fix this problem by v13f kernel (while ago). You also may use firefox v13 on v13 kernel
-
Thx. I replaced it to v13e2 kernel.
-
I released English version v13e. But this version is still not tested.
-
That is simple reason. 1.txt is mac format. try to change CR to CR+LF.

Followup article Did you ezinstall ? do you check Ez KD Reg ? you must ez install to same folder as flashplayerinstaller.exe. After install, you also set ez install kernel32 to %systemroot%\system32\Macromed\Flash

Last Versions of Software for Windows 2000
blackwingcat replied to thirteenth's topic in Windows 2000/2003/NT4
If you use KDW, copy InstallFlashPlayer.exe to anywhere temp folder and EzInstall to there and execute. If you want flash control panel, you must execute it XP compatible mode with fcwin. and patch *.cpl for userxp.dll with fcwin, and Dynamic install user32.dll(userxp) to system32 folder. Japanese blog detail is here Thanks for the help! How can I change the SetDllDirectoryW under KDW? -
Perhaps It requires some Kernel functions I gave up before. I used Virtualbox till 1.6.x

If you force install VirtualBox 3.x and 4.x , they would not work on Windows 2000. Because it seems to depend on Shadow Image Copy Service it does not supported on Windows 2000. So I always use VMWare Player 3.1 or Virtual PC 2005 on Windows 2000. Did you try BlackWingCat's setupapi.dll? I don't know if it supports those two functions, but it is probably worth a try. http://blog.livedoor.jp/blackwingcat/archives/873798.html BWC's SETUPAPI.DLL doesn't support SetupSetNonInteractiveMode, therefore I cannot install VirtualBox 4 even with a modified MSI to allow installation on Win2k. It does have SetupUninstallOEMInfW though.

Well, I know. I think perhaps the Driver manager only missfound the driver current directory. So I said , you had better select the driver folder again.
-
I bought 3DMark06 before. And run on my PC. Here is the article.

Hi. It was sound like when you used ATI Driver version 10.11, you could not found ati2mtag.sy_ and ativvamv.dl_ and you copy from 11.7 driver.. Is it miss understand for me ? If it is so, you must use 10.11 folder's file, because these file exists in folder. Additional. If you have installed .Net 2.0SP2 in your PC Please use the Calalist Control Center and change manually the GPU Fan Speed about 40%. Then the GPU temperature will go down about 40 C degree. ... Or, what immediately followed the section you quoted? It is the second quote from the same post that describes how Windows 2000 is presently running with the new graphics card. I only tried to install the ati1011w2k (edited) driver twice, and after noting the Desktop display (see image in original post) I thought it would be a good idea to go to a different and unmodified (by me) BWC driver, to see what would happen. Incidentally, unlike the previous attempt, I was not presented with a blank 'Models' box during driver installation, so the earlier problem did not arise. In other words: the ASUS EAH5450 SILENT graphics card is now installed, and is working equally well, whether I boot into Windows 2000 Professional or Windows 7 Professional. In Windows 2000, all graphics functions are normal, just as with the X300 card, except that the periodic system crashes are gone. The GPU temperature for the EAH5450 in Windows 2000 does not exceed 51ºC, and is occasionally less. Did you mean to say there could still be some problem in Windows 2000, that could cause 'damage'?

Hi. The resson, which kdllinst doesn't support ntdll.dll is Windows usally ignores ExcludeKnownDlls on NTDLL.DLL. It seems www.mirrorcreator.com blocks the access from Japan.
-
Hi. It is wrong.(and dangerous) there are these two files in ati1011w2k. You had only better to select the target folder "ati1011w2k\B107327". Additional, HD Audio Driver perhaps requires KB888111. You must install it.
