I'm messing arround with my windows 98SE install and got to my XP partition, very funny, found some unused FindeXer files. I wanted to register it, but it comes with "win98 doesn't support regsvr from command line", so needed to copy regsvr32.exe from system to it's local folder. now, it comes with "runtime error in LoadLibrary (0), missing library files needed". I read readme.txt and it needs Visual Studio 2005 runtimes, I downloaded and installed then, but problem persists. i'm not a great programmer, neither know how to track a program's processes. Maxtor SATAII on XP STXXXX (don't remember) on W98SE it doesn't hav tag when Quantumn FireBall failed, it made me: shutdown windows 98 lose about 5 of my favorite music videos all of my music my games my docs my configs (along with windows ) i was 11 years old, couldn't do much for my lost data Isn't Maxtor an Quantumn division?

yep, as Windows9x doesn't support transparency, you'll be forced to ditch the sidebar background, either use a transparent one. I would like to run a first rainbar process for background and a second one for gadgets (as Vista does). but i don't need the background to be colorized screenie:

Nice bump!! I see it's a great pack, i wanna help it's spanish development. I see it has glitches and english-ed dialogs into my spanish install. uberskin is a great skinner, but lacks explorer toolbar skinning later

you can try it safely under winME since it uses the same GUI that 98 uses, and it's a native 9x feature (see TuneUp SystemControl 2007) also: Vista toolbar for windows98 click and download very clean, and looks just like the Vista msstyles for XP skinning, example, see Windows X's or Vishal Gupta's themes /post

I see you don't know which RainBar i'm using, well, not the installer edition, use the previous one. Please try to find the V4.2 iwthout installer I know there is an installer edition by Legace, wich doesn't install very well under 9x tell me if U want me to upload it somewhere so that you can download it

I was playing arround with my Win98SE install, so put MSLU and KernelEx 0.3.4a on it, and guess what happened, i i'm able to run Vista RainBar V4 under Windows9x!!!!!!! This is my first screenie of that sidebar : Would someone want to work arround with it? it's not 100% perfect, but it looks awesome!!!! the best Vista SideBar i've ever tried under 9x!!!! /post

well, translating ain't a problem with a resource hacker. I'm working with the spanish edition of the skin. (IDK if there in one already). I know there is no way to install uberskin with revolutions pack present @ your system, but i'm wondering if it's possible to have Uberskin installed before RevolutiosPack7. Then install RP7 without LameSkin. replies please?

I'm using the revolutions pack 7.11, which is totally amazing, i like this, but i found a little crappy the fact that it doesn't come with a logon screen. the windows one is just boring. i tried to google something like this but no one seems to be interested about 9x anymore T_T just wanted to know if U know about one, or at least create one.

I saw there is no color chooser option under W9x systems when using WMP9. I mean, i know MS didn't want 9x users to enjoy all XP features, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to get it. quick example: Nero StartSmart 6, which has color chooser feature ;D I just wanted to know, this gray window is just anoying PD: i use revolutions pack 7.11
