  1. PHP counter (can be easily integrated into a GD image): $viewss = file("views.txt"); $views = $viewss[0]; $views++; $fp = fopen("views.txt", "w"); fwrite($fp, $views); fclose($fp); $counter = "This sig has been viewed $views times!"; Make sure you have a file called "views.txt without the quotes in the same directory and CHMOD'ed to 777...
  2. Is it for backup purposes?
  3. Turn on your firewall...
  4. it would be more faster if the matches are colored as if google do. They are... They come out with red text and a yellow background...
  5. There's no other way to delete it unless you have access to their server... Sorry...
  6. It is... [Topic moved.]
  7. You'd be even more surprised if you drove around! 66% of all the Wireless Access Points are not secured properly. I know this for a fact, because I drove through the neighbourhood with my laptop and NetStumbler, and about 40 out of the 60 were not secured... Not that I connected to any of them, was driving too fast...
  8. My dad got me a computer when I was 3 years old... Wasn't in school yet! WELCOME TO MSFN!
  9. I believe its normal... It happens to me also when I'm copying files over my Wireless Network... Remember, 802.11b has a maximum speed of 11 megabits/sec...
  10. Funny things is that I don't even know where all my burnt CDs went... <thinking> maybe in the garbage? ah... 10 coasters lying around the house... </thinking>
  11. Cool, I'm on my 3rd 100 pack... Its half way done, and my Memorex pack is on the shelf, ready to opened!
  12. Whoops... Forgot to mention that... Right now, I'm using a no name brand I got at my local computer store... They work great, and burn at around 30x. I also have another pack of 100 unused CD-RWs from Memorex that are supposed to have a top burning speed of 52x (that's what it says on the spindle). My burner is an LG-CDRW burner. 52x, 24x, 52x
  13. I have a 52x CD-RW burner... I have a bunch of 52x CD-RWs, but haven't used them yet... Right now, I'm burning CDs at around 30x or so, so its not that bad... It doesn't even make that much noise when burning at a higher speed!
  14. Yes, you did. But:
  15. Server back on for testing my slapping abilities with adminmod!
  16. I don't quite understand what this will do... I reinstalled XP a week and a half ago... So far, I haven't had any problems with my laptop since I left the ATI program run in the background...
  17. My laptop just shut off on me today... Probably was a video driver error... I got a BSoD yesterday... Does it just restart with no warning?

  19. Don't understand how it could be a RAM problem... This laptop was working fine for my dad (unless he didn't tell me something)... Oh well, I just reinstalled the driver for my video card and I'm letting that ATI program run in the background... So far, no freezing!
  20. One post was fine... Your other posts were removed. Please don't post threads under multiple forums... That's called SPAMMING.
  21. Thing is, it never happened to my dad before...
  22. I don't if its over-heating... My old 7 year old laptop didn't have a problem... Yes, it just shut off on its own while I was browsing, like someone had pressed the power button and held it 'till it shut off... My graphics card is an ATI Mobility M6. The brand of laptop is Toshiba... It is the Satellite 1900 series and it is about 2 or 3 years old now...
  23. Strange thing just happened now... I was just surfing on some page and then all of a sudden, my computer shuts off... I actually think it may be the video drivers now, because I got a BSoD yesterday... Help me?
  24. Is it a USB keyboard or a PS/2 keyboard? If its a USB keyboard, replace it with a PS/2 keyboard (or have both plugged in at the same time) and use the PS/2 keyboard to update/repair your corrupted files...
  25. Hi... I haven't had a problem in a long time, but I just got my dad's new laptop, installed XP on it last Monday, and or the last week or so, it just randomly freezes... For example, I'm surfing the web or talking on MSN Messenger or AIM, or ANYTHING, then I move my mouse and the computer just freezes... Can't end any process or wait, NOTHING WORKS! So I have to restart my laptop to fix it... Specs for this laptop are: P4 1.6GHz 256MB of RAM 30GB Hard Drive I know there is a topic similar to this one (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=ST&f=34&t=22256), but I believe this has nothing to do with my video drivers. Any help would be appreciated...
